He was also one of the closest devotees of Baba. The present day Samadhi Mandir at Shirdi was built by him. Same has been mentioned in Shri Sai Satcharitra by Hemadpant. The pic below is from the official translation of the Satcharitra (2/5)
What was supposed to be the personal abode became Baba’s abode with his blessings and will. We feel honoured and blessed as our family name shines on the Samadhi Mandir. Blessings in truest sense (3/5)
Someone also asked me about the Manoj Kumar movie. You can see actor Raj Mehra playing Bapusaheb Buti in Shirdi Ke Sai Baba (1977) which has this scene about Bapusaheb asking permission to Baba to build Wada and temple of Shri Krishna within the Wada (4/5)
The ancestral house ie the Buty Wada at Sitabuldi, Nagpur is no less than a temple for us since it was here that Shri Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon spent his 6 months. Same has been mentioned in the granth Shri Gajanan Vijay by Dasganu Maharaj. Pic below has the translation (5/5)
