🕯️ We think of the courageous Ukrainian defender who dominated the news today.

“At night, 13 Russian drones were destroyed out of 15 launched,” Yuriy Ignat spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force said.
"Ukraine has fulfilled all seven recommendations of the EU, which were determined when it received candidate status. This demonstrates our determination to move to the start of accession negotiations already this year," said Prime Minister Shmyhal.
Bakhmut will hold and the AFU will keep defending it. That is the outcome of a meeting between Zelenskyi and high ranking Ukrainian military officials
Let's continue with the front. In the upcoming days I will be switching to my new more detailed maps. So expect summaries but not always supported by a visual. By the end of the week I want all SitReps to be supported by individual maps 👍
I made a start by visualizing Bakhmut
The AFU has completely withdrawn from the eastern part of Bakhmut to the western part of the Bakhmutovka river. Today Wagner planted her flag on the T-34 monument in Zabakhmutka district, asserting control over this area.
To the north and the south of Bakhmut there is no news to report on. To the north, the 🇷🇺 progress seems halted by the natural river barrier. Also Prigozhin made a statement about incoming failure if necessary reinforcements and ammo are not provided.
In the south, we have seen massive Russian troop build-ups in the Zaporizhzia region in recent days. New troops and heavy equipment arrive in Melitopol every day and today a column was spotted in Mariupol, on its way to the front in Zaporizhzia.
It's been pretty quiet around Kreminna for the last week. Today I got an update. The fighting continues, but there are some positional changes north of Kreminna in favor of 🇺🇦. Rumors spread that Russian troops in Kreminna are being moved towards Bakhmut.
That's all for today. Tomorrow again a new SitRep as usual!

General Oleksandr Syrsky, commander of the eastern grouping again visited Bakhmut. Meanwhile, Russians have shifted their efforts north of Soledar where they restarted an offensive towards Rozdolivka.
An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. It seems more and more that Russia is running out of steam around Bakhmut. More important, 130 heroes were freed from Russian captivity and returned home.

In Tblisi, Georgia things really get out of hand. Protestors against the foreign agent legislation law passed by the pro-Russian government are breaking into the Georgian parliament.
Georgians do not want to be a Russian puppet state.
Don't get me wrong, I am fully behind these protestor but I hope that people don't get hurt.
An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Heavy fighting continues in Bakhmut and Russian troops in the north around the M-03 are still gaining territory. The AFU is buying precious time.
