The agents of the patriarchy, are doing their hardest to erase lesbianism from our culture, by queering it. Prefixing “lesbian” with “political”, “bi”, or “trans”, are attempts at #LesbianErasure and is blatant #Lesophobia. It’s been allowed to happen in Radical Fem for decades.

TQ did not start this lesbian erasure. It began in the 1970s, actually WITHIN Radical Feminism and it’s NEVER been challenged! Sheila Jeffrey’s developed the ideology and the likes of Bindel and Wild PLs are promoting it again. They have made a hierarchy over genuine lesbians.

I stopped going to @FiLiA_charity because of what I experienced there, as a genuine lesbian. The “lesbian” speakers were not genuine lesbians, but fake political “lesbians” het/bi. Radical Feminism is NOT a genuine ally to genuine lesbians, only ideological zealots.

Sexual orientation is NOT political or an ideology. Genuine lesbians who are exclusively attracted to women, were “force teamed”, then dominated and silenced by middle-class PLs. Have you ever met a working-class PL????? In forty years , I haven’t!

#LesbianErasure is a specialism ofthe Left of politics in the UK. My shock at Radical Feminism though and the fact that the #QueeringOfLesbianism began in the 70s, by our “own” Sheila Jeffreys! It’s put a whole new complexion on RadicalFeminism for myself and a lot of GENUINE Ls.

Whether Filia decide to block me on Twitter or not, it’s a conversation we NEED to have within the movement. Because as it stands, it’s a shameful treatment of a minority group within Radical Feminism. @StrengthLesbian @LesBeRealUK @ScotLesbians @joeybrite1 @LesbianFB

There is a recent thread on Mumsnet. called , “What’s Wrong with Filia?” An interesting thread, worth a read.

The word “lesbian” means nothing now, by ideological assault from the Left. “Lesbian” means, whatever straights/bis and men want it to mean. It’s been so queered, the word is obselete in any true sense. At least the word “homosexual” can’t be queered like the word “lesbian” can!

We either define the word and use it to promote genuine lesbians (exclusively same-sex attracted women), by removing ALL the prefixes Or, we start to encourage the use of the prefix Genuine Lesbian. If they can prefix to queer, we can prefix the TRUTH #GenuineLesbian
