@stevenjbarnett seriously suggests that out of @MattHancock and @IsabelOakeshott it is Oakeshott who is the threat to public health.

I don't take issue with Barnett discussing Oakeshott's betrayal of confidentiality. This is essentially a whistleblower case, and discussion of the ethics around such a case is warranted.

But a threat to public health? In light of the content of the Whatsapp files? Come ON.
Barnett suggests that Oakeshott ought to have handed the files over to the impending public enquiry, rather than to media.

There is a social divide that appears to be widening - those who trust government institutions & related offshoots, and those who do not.

1/7 Does anyone else find it suspicious that the @sahmriAU report that is the basis of the claim,
"Unvaxxed five times more likely to die of COVID: SA research,"

cannot be located & has not been linked in any publications promoting it?

2/7 I contacted SA Health and was advised that the phone operator only had access to the press release and could not direct me to the report.

(I have also emailed, they are responding at the speed of bureaucracy)

I was advised to contact @sahmriAU, who wrote the report.
3/7 @sahmriAU replied:

"Unfortunately the full report belongs to SA Health and so is not ours to publish or share....

..'ultimately it will be up to the department to decide whether it is published."
