“While Obi was busy setting standards of good governance for posterity, some other myopic, timid governors were busy with the unconscionable primitive acquisition of wealth, with public funds, to the detriment or impoverishment of the very masses that voted them into office. Image
The current events in the Nigerian democratic space is a veritable lesson to public officers and indeed to the generations yet unborn. What goes for Obi today is the awesome quality service he rendered as a governor; and of course, the dispositional humility, character,
comeliness and intellectual acumen that define his public conduct.

Today, Obi is widely impressed and embraced by the oppressed, dispossessed and the downtrodden on one hand; and overtly depressing to the oppressors, predators and political marauders, on the other.”

Did u know that during slavery there were black people who refused to be free? They even fought along Whites to keep the system going, including notable Warrant chiefs/prominent Leaders at the time. They even served as spies, agents of Europeans to sabotage any form of progress.
Their bloodlines lives on in some of us today.

The African proverb “If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside cannot harm us”, comes to mind.

Leave the enemies across borders, focus on the ones within. Nigeria, has more dangerous enemies within!!
“The worse enemy is the one beside you for he or she can easily attack you from any corner, they know your beginning and afterwards sends your weaknesses to outsiders. If they don't near you, they can never harm you.” This particular proverb says it all.

Sometime in 2009, @PeterObi
Governor Of Anambra State at the time, visited Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and myself at Dallas, Texas. He came to deliver a get well message from Dr Goodluck Jonathan and was billed to attend a black tie event at the Dallas Marriot.
Curiously, he flew into Dallas airport with one small carry on luggage which he insisted on wheeling around himself, and on getting to our residence requested to freshen up. He opened his carry on, filled with files and paperwork and a few toiletries and an extra shirt,
when the Ikemba and I asked if he was expecting another item of luggage, and he said no.

Then, what will you be wearing to the event tonight?’, we inquired. It was at that point that it struck him that he couldn’t show up in his casuals at such a ceremony.

Tinubu, Atiku and political obituary (II), By Tunde Odesola

Bitter, sweet and curious creature, the honeybee. When the honeybee stings, its abdomen tears up, its mouth opens and closes, hitting the ground in a final kiss of death.
That is the fate of the honeybee and its stinger – a weapon it uses for protection and the harbinger of its ultimate death.

Science has shown that when the honeybee sinks its stinger in flesh, for example, the stinger gets hooked. In an attempt to force the stinger out,
the longer part of the stinger embedded inside the bee tears up the end of the abdomen, and the bee opens its mouth ‘in shock,’ then closes it, and drops to kiss the ground in death.

Like the honeybee and the Malaysian Exploding Ant, the APC and PDP suffered self-amputation,
