Its US govts fault fentanyl & foreigners are pouring through our border. If Mexico wants the cartels... let 'em keep the cartels. US govt has a constitutional duty to protect OUR sovereignty & natl sec, NOT police a foreign country. Secure the fucking border & strengthen our laws
If Mexico doesnt want to cooperate w/ us to end mass human smuggling/drug trafficking crisis... ok👍🏼. US can put a 99% fee on remittances & other crushing economic tools. Designate cartels as FTO's. Anyone having anything to do w/ 'em, including Americans, will face consequences
There's a couple major probs though... until US govt & border states actually secure the border, by whatever means necessary, starting a military cartel war is extremely dangerous... & an FTO designation would make it more difficult for our agencies, (CIA), to work w/ their pals
US economic & natl sec is priority numero uno. W/out it, nothing else matters. Cartels take advantage of US govt incompetence & unwillingness to get tough. Because "it's not who we are" & statue of liberty has a slogan. Cartels run a profitable biz & put food on table for many
And... let's be real.
Drugs aren't going away.
There will always be drugs.
However, IMO there's a difference btwn weed & cocaine vs lethal doses of fentanyl laced in other shit. Point blank... our country is being invaded. Doesn't mean foreigners are bad people. But we can't
take in the world... communities all over country are being destroyed. Most dont even have the resources to take care of basic needs of Americans. Flood the country w/ illegals & the system will collapse. US govt officials can blame whatever they want. But they're all responsible
Depending on Mexico to solve our problems is fucking ridiculous. We're the most powerful country in the world (for now). Maybe we should act like it, for our own benefit. I mean FFS, we provide needles & safe spaces for people to shoot up drugs. That ain't the cartels fault.🤷🏼♀️
When the US Federal Govt decides it's time to put America & Americans first, stop bending the knee to emotional feelings & pushing bullshit narratives of what we're "morally" required to do... things will change. Until then, Governors need to step up... and go hard.

Dear @HouseGOP@SpeakerMcCarthy If u are 1 of the few in a position to create laws, policy & oversee economic & natl sec, especially how taxpayer funds are spent, u will not be taken seriously when u constantly whine about US debt & spending while having no plan of your own.
Besides @RandPaul, who every year releases a fun little Festivus report showing a small percentage of total govt waste, fraud & abuse... how many members of Congress have actually gone line item by line item in the budget, redlining, gutting , & coming up w/ ways to save 🇺🇲?
How many members of Congress could tell you the total number of govt agencies & sub-agencies? (Zero. Because no one really knows). How many members of Congress are aware Pentagon provides them w/ fraudulent financial reports to get increased funding? How many will admit there is
. #TwitterFiles release is such a small sampling of what really goes on behind scenes when it comes to govt corruption. Transparency is so important. Let's not forget... Julian Assange is still suffering in a jail cell because the US govt doesn't want you to know the truth.
If you have the time, go back through all @wikileaks releases... revealing horrific crimes & corruption around the world. What has been done about it? Nothing. No change has come because WE THE PEOPLE have turned over all power to the institutions responsible for all problems.
Shock & awe ensues, then a week later everyone forgets & moves on to the next "breaking news" story. Govt officials make promises of accountability & change. It never happens. Then everyone acts surprised when it's revealed things have only gotten worse. Are you awake?
