Main Sun Idol was made of pure gold and beautifully ornamented with diamonds, sitting on his chariot with 7 horses.
Since the Idol is missing now, all you can see is a deep plinth that was once filled with gold coins. It is said that the diamonds on the idol would light the whole temple with a beautiful golden glow.
