What are you going to DO about reports of people being brutalized, forced from their land, murdered?
We don't have to tick a box for consciences: "I care" -- who gives a shit? 😠

When does the civil rights campaign truly begin in 🇪🇹?
They attacked your church. They attacked #Adwa.
They are slaughtering a whole ethnic group.
No one ever wins their rights by asking -- you have to demand rights, fight for and win them.

A former(?) ally sent me a DM recently: "Don't put your hand in these troubled waters." To which I must politely respond: Get stuffed. I go where my friends ask for my help. When they kill the relatives and neighbors of my friends, hell no, not sitting this one out. Screw that.

This is my weapon, my words. What's yours? How will you fight this injustice?
What do you choose to make things better for those IDPs, the ones fleeing massacres, blocked from even traveling to the capital of their own country?
When will we see an army of peace that says: ENOUGH.

I hope we'll see church leaders, activists, entertainers in 🇪🇹 and the diaspora, everyone get motivated to SPEAK OUT. Make things so damn uncomfortable, so difficult for the powers that be -- EXPOSE them -- so they MUST stop brutalizing these people and acknowledge their rights.

The Ethiopian spirit is one that believes in Christ's (or Allah's) protection of the meek and vulnerable.
