Why the sentiment for @RTFKT is so poor right now, and how we can fix some of it.

I have noticed a shift from holder as investor to holder as consumer. It's been happening for a while. We paid RTFKT for an experience and promise of a future "metaverse", CloneX ecosystem and whatnot.

Where they have failed is in executing these for appropriate pricing / disclosing big catches such as a region lock. Furthermore, the communication continues to be "you'll see trust us" rather than transparency.

- At the beginning this was OK, due to the massive speculation, but has become unsustainable with the recent drops which have failed to be better / reach the expectations of the ones before. e.g. AF1 colourway changes, MNLTH2 rushed opening.

How I see this to be connected to nike:
1. Nike doesn't think the holder promises are worth fulflling
2. Nike wants a return on their investment, therefore is focusing on extraction

3. Nike has set up it's dot.swoosh team which allows them to access a lot more consumers vs the 8k of us

These are not observations I am making in order to damage the reputation of this asset, yes, obviously I care about the floor as I invested 3eth december 2021 into my CloneX, like many others.

I remain grateful for the contacts I've made here, for the experience here and the many opportunities opened by RTFKT, airdrops I managed to sell. I still think CloneX has some of the best art in the space.

The TLDR of issues:

RTFKT has displayed an opaqueness that other teams, like yugalabs do not. RTFKT is a very ambitious, unique project, which we understand requires a sustainable source of income, but the recent abuse of trust with overpriced drops is making me worry.

I love nike, but we have to remember that the multi-layered structure of a corp like theirs might not be beneficial to us, holders and future investors

I would love to hear out the team's comments on some of the points, I acknowledge that my knowledge is not complete, neither am I informed enough to make in-depth analyses of the way RTFKT operates

I am also very proud to be a RTFKT creator, and admire the innovation the team brings to the space, but it doesn't change what I said above unfortunately

I'd like to provide a solution to some of the above issues:

1. Team transparency: Post sneak peeks as if it was a fresh project that doesn't have backing.
To evaluate, generate interest from people outside the ecosystem, CloneX holders have no incentive to purchase your product if nobody from the outside wants it

2. Be honest about your mistakes. Things like "This was another quest for you guys to figure out" after a botched mint does not help.

3. Take feedback seriously, treat holders like investors / equity holders.

4. DO NOT RUSH THINGS. A lot of drops have been ruined due to deadlines. Get things prepared. This applies to phygital items too. Have physical copies ready before you even dare drop a render.
