An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. The first footage emerged from a RAM II kamikaze drone, and Russia is struggling to force an actual breakthrough in Bakhmut.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 18/03 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff. We also include visually destroyed damaged, captured or destroyed enemy equipment or personnel.

+880 men
+5 tanks
+7 APCs
+8 artillery pieces
+2 MLRS
+14 UAVs
A group of Russian infantry struck hard.
Russian forces keep trying to enter the Dnipro delta island with DRG groups. They have never established a position there until now.
A big banger. 10 tanks and 1 APC were destroyed in just one night by special SBU units. Great job.
Russian BM-21 Grad destroyed in Zaporizhzia region
A trench with Wagners was cleared by AFU fighters.
The 3rd separate assault brigade is very active a round Bakhmut. A short insight in how they eliminate enemies
A Russian hideout was found and covered by Ukrainian artillery
How nice. A Russian Mi-35M helicopter crashed!
Two Russian Tor-M2 systems were destroyed
Let's continue with the general events. Many applications of private pilots and F-16 engineers to join the Ukrainian cause.
US provided Avengers already in Ukraine, currently at training grounds
Ukrainian servicemen in the UK keep training on the Challenger 2 tank, almost ready.
Suddenly Russia opens small openings for negotiations. Do the sanctions hurt too much?
Unhappy mobilized soldiers, but what else is new.
To the front. In Bakhmut little has changed compared to this morning. Ukrainian troops pushed Russian troops back a little to the east of the Mig-17 monument. Heavy fighting continues around Khromove. In the north of Bakhmut it is oddly quiet.
North of Bakhmut, Russian troops tried to get closer to Hryhorivka, but failed. Ukrainian artillery uses the height difference. Russian troops suffer really huge losses there. The images I receive are too violent to share on twitter.
In Avdiivka it seems (unfortunately) that Russians have gained a foothold in Krasnohorivka. There are multiple confirmations from private sources, fighting is going on, AFU is offering fierce resistance to the Russians. AFU repelled attacks on Nevelske, Pervomaiske and Sjeverne
Vuhledar, well. She tried again, this time further east, but with the same result. Since yesterday it is 'quiet' again. I still have to wait for the unit commander to approve it, but then I have very nice material from the 72nd brigade for you :-)
In Kupyansk it is relatively quiet. There are other reporters who still consider Hryanikivka contested, but I can assure you that Ukrainian troops are no longer there. The front is further south, at Lyman Pershyi. This village changes hands quite often.
That's all for today. Tomorrow again a new SitRep as usual!

Meeting between Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping begins in the Kremlin. Xi called Putin a 'dear friend'.

Calling a wanted war criminal a friend makes you an accomplice to this war and nothing different than Assad, Lukashenko and other dictatorial regimes.
"Next year there are elections and i am sure that people will support you," Xi said.
That Xi ft. Putin picture I just posted was indeed AI generated like I expected. It would have been the biggest embarrasment ever.
