As usual we start with Russian losses per 18/03 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff. We also include visually destroyed damaged, captured or destroyed enemy equipment or personnel.
To the front. In Bakhmut little has changed compared to this morning. Ukrainian troops pushed Russian troops back a little to the east of the Mig-17 monument. Heavy fighting continues around Khromove. In the north of Bakhmut it is oddly quiet.
North of Bakhmut, Russian troops tried to get closer to Hryhorivka, but failed. Ukrainian artillery uses the height difference. Russian troops suffer really huge losses there. The images I receive are too violent to share on twitter.
In Avdiivka it seems (unfortunately) that Russians have gained a foothold in Krasnohorivka. There are multiple confirmations from private sources, fighting is going on, AFU is offering fierce resistance to the Russians. AFU repelled attacks on Nevelske, Pervomaiske and Sjeverne
Vuhledar, well. She tried again, this time further east, but with the same result. Since yesterday it is 'quiet' again. I still have to wait for the unit commander to approve it, but then I have very nice material from the 72nd brigade for you :-)
In Kupyansk it is relatively quiet. There are other reporters who still consider Hryanikivka contested, but I can assure you that Ukrainian troops are no longer there. The front is further south, at Lyman Pershyi. This village changes hands quite often.
That's all for today. Tomorrow again a new SitRep as usual!
