The lady Harbinger was a powerful warrior, one that deserved to be feared and respected. She could be the blade of the Tsaritsa between the battelfield and a loving mother inside her home.

When Childe grabbed her daughter, the fox started to whine like a distressed baby, her little claws sinking in the sheets. She didn't want to be lifted, but mama wanted to give her a proper bath. Luckily, the woman was determined.

"My, my, what a sleepy baby..." She chuckled, stroking the red fur and looking at the little cub with fondness. Iris was her thirdborn and her only girl. Childe's fingers rubbed Iris' back, humming for her. She rubbed between the fluffy ears, watching the baby's reactions.

Iris turned around, chasing her mama's hand with her little paws. She opened her mouth, gently biting at Childe's fingers. It was in that moment that the mother lifted her, finally winning.
Iris' face was still shocked while Childe gently bathed her.

She brushed the little fox' fur, making sure that the dirt was all in the water before washing the soap away. Childe was grateful that Iris wasn't so fussy when it came to bathe.
"Good girl." Childe kissed her snout and Iris placed her face on mama's shoulder.

Childe placed the baby down and the cub played with her mother's fluffy tail before Childe was done setting her things on the table.
"Are you ready to turn into a baby?" She chuckled, picking the little fox up.

When Iris was back into her hybrid form, the fox was faced with a baby with dark browh hair and deep blue eyes. She kissed her nose, before sitting with the baby on her lap.
She brushed Iris' hair, humming a familiar song for her.

Childe saw her other children play in the garden, one half-dragon and one half-fox. She chuckled, braiding Iris short hair for what she could, using whale-shaped hairclips.
The baby had a pair of fox ears...and a pair of dragon horns.

"Will you help me braid papa's hair too?" Once she was done with Iris, the Harbinger placed her down and the little girl grabbed her mama's tail.
To find Zhongli, Childe just had to walk in their bedroom.

The dragon hybrid was sleeping and someone had fun drawing fake glasses on his face.
"This is Lieng's doing..." She sighed, imagining that Zhongli must have not realized yet.
Since their wedding, Zhongli had started to enjoy the act of sleeping, even if he didn't need to.

She slowly placed their daugher on the bed, stroking at Zhongli's horns until the man properly stirred up.
"Ah... Lieng drew moustaches as well."
Useless to say, that when Zhongli opened his eyes, his wife was laughing.

It was a cute sight. Iris sitting on Zhongli's lap, while Childe braided Zhongli's long hair.
They had their children playing around them. Jinia and Lieng chasing each other while Iris babbled while Zhongli cooed at her.

"My beloved..." Zhongli whispered and for a moment, Childe thought that he was talking to their daughter. Yet, the little one was asleep between his arms and he was looking at her.
Childe chuckled, there was still some ink left on Zhongli's face.

She leaned in to kiss him on his lips.
"I can't take you seriously until you get your face properly cleaned..."
Zhongli rolled his eyes, while his wife grinned.
"I'm done with the braid, do you like it?" She tied the end of the tail with a ribbon, satisfied.

Zhongli pulled her toward himself, kissing one of the fluffy ears.
"I love it...and I love you. And the kids. Even the ones that draws fake moustaches on me." His golden eyes placed on the troublemaker.
"I love you too, Zhongli..." Childe purred, cuddling against his chest.

It was a nice day outside and Childe couldn't wait to spend more moments with her family, know that it will make her work days even better.
