Peter "Okwute" Obi has reset the Nigerian Political trajectory. He empowers youth to take back their nation. He's become a true light & salt of the land. His values-based politics anchored on 4Cs have made dangerous & wicked bigots/bullies unravel in different sections of Nigeria Image
@ChimarokeNamani A few months ago, when you were positioning to be Atiku's VP, & later SP under BAT, I pointed out the need for Igbo political elite to retrace their steps & transform the region or face the wrath of Youth. Unprovoked, your hurled vitriol at me & even at Peter Obi
@ChimarokeNamani You insulted @EzeasorIje @Ifechideere & many others who simply held you and other badly-behaving Igbo politicians accountable. You taunted the youth and dared them to go out and vote you out if they could. And they've taken your suggestion and done exactly this👊
@ChimarokeNamani A very powerful message has been passed by Youth in Alaigbo that it will NOT be business as usual for corrupt politicians/self-styled godfathers who offer the people crumbs of corruption & rig in every election. An Igbo Renaissance is upon us, & we thank Okwute👊
@ChimarokeNamani Like I told you several months ago, Twitter's NOT Ogbete market where you come out with your praise-singers every other orie, nkwo, afo or nkwo market day to perform for a gullible crowd that you've weaponized poverty against. Our Youth lead with ideas on Twitter
@ChimarokeNamani Far too long, we've left the leadership space in Alaigbo to be occupied by Charlatans, Crooks, Corrupt Cowards & Clowns. Okwute has brought a fresh new approach to politics - he challenges us to take responsibility, own our agency, vote based on a NEW set of 4Cs.
Peter Obi's middle name is GREGORY.

In your ill-informed tweet, you referred to him as "Gringory", obviously to disrespect him, just as El Rufai had once tried in referring to him as a Nollywood actor.

It shows you are a poor student of history & have NO respect for Creatives!
@ChimarokeNamani Re: "Gringory"

The late great comedic actor JAMES IROHA (RIP), popularized the character in the iconic & popular 80's series -The New Masquerade. The character's name was "Gregory" but was mis-pronounced by Chief Zebrudaya (played brilliantly by Pa Chika Okpala) Image
@ChimarokeNamani After you left office & immunity lapsed, you had to enter a plea bargain with EFCC to forfeit several assets/monies you plundered from Enugu treasury with some siphoned abroad.

Your legacy? Lootocracy & violence.

IF we had strong institutions, you'd be in JAIL
Okwute judiciously/prudently used public funds and left Anambra State significant SAVINGS.

And Okwute does NOT collect any "life pension" for serving Anambra for 8 years. Unlike you & your corrupt ilk, even with Enugu currently having the 2nd highest poverty rate in the South!
📍@ChimarokeNamani

"When an idol becomes too powerful & arrogant, we tell him the wood it was carved from.”

"No man, no matter how great, is greater than their people. No man ever wins a judgment against their clan." - Chinua Achebe

#OhaNweEze Power belongs to us, THE PEOPLE!
📍The End/

Umunnem, biko nu, ka anyi gbako aka dozie Ala Igbo.

Let us continue to participate, protect our votes, hold ALL our leaders accountable, no matter their parties.

NEVER AGAIN should we allow corrupt, evil, greedy, inept rulers hold us hostage again! #Ozoemena

UDO!🙏

Pls, from my perspective o, Nigerian immigrants in Canada 30 or 50 years ago, are quite different from the Immigrants today. Today, many are collaborating and building enterprises together. They invest/partner in real estate, food sector, education, tech, cooperatives, trade etc.
There are more and more international students from Nigeria and other African countries coming to Canada. And with the relatively friendly immigration policies and job opportunities & support for Entrepreneurship, many are quickly earning well after graduating=more opportunities.
E.g There's a strong demographic of Northerners in the GTA doing awesome/cool work in the commodities/trade sector, there are young Nigerians doing good work in Real Estate, Women collaborating in the agro/food space...Change the old narrative that we don't collaborate. NOT true!

PDP is a scourge to Alaigbo, specifically in Abia & Enugu State. If we are to have good governance, accountability and development, we must uproot PDP. The same group of corrupt cabals have held us hostage since 19gbiridim. Our fellow ndi Igbo. Muọ nsọ ka akpọ unu ncha ọku!!
There comes a time in the life of a people when we draw a clear line in the sand, and stand up to reclaim our dignity and destiny.

The like of Okezie Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi, Nnamani, Peter Mba, and all the PDP "big shots" in Abia and Enugu hiding in the shadows should be called out!
For years, PDP has brazenly rigged its way to power in SE & many citizens simply looked on helplessly. NEVER AGAIN! If we allow the travesty of Obingwa and Nkanu East, and the thuggery/violence/abuse of power by PDP feudal lords and their thugs, they will be even more emboldened!

I love that #EBEANO Supermarket is thinking globally, beyond Nigeria. This is the mindset I hope more of us cultivate - to build excellent brands locally and then expand them internationally.

EBEANO Supermarket🛒 is currently in Canada in the city of St Catharines, and growing. ImageImageImageImage
#EBEANO_Supermarket:

"We are a global food market in Canada. Our goal is to meet the grocery needs of all cultures.

Location: 358, 360 Ontario Str. Unit 3 & 4, St. Catharines, ON L2R 5L8

Building global brands, esp in the food space would expand our local agro-food sector=FX$ ImageImageImage
There's so much to learn from other groups about building shared prosperity. Let's think beyond silo diaspora remittances.

E.g Lessons from the Indians, Italians, Persians, Chinese, Jews... They have been intentional in building economic power & investing in their home countries

Today's duas, prayers, meditations, psalms, mass intentions are for @alexottiofr Governor-elect of Abia

Biko nwannem, a lot's riding on your shoulders. Alaigbo needs exemplary Leaders. Do NOT disappoint like Soludo. FOCUS & Invest in world-class infrastructure & HCD
Biko nu umunnem Ndi Igbo all across the world, against the backdrop of the clear existential threats we face, it is time for us to become more strategic & intentional in investing in/transforming Alaigbo. We need our best minds/hands to get involved, we cannot continue like this!
Umunnem, There's nothing happening in 🇳🇬 today that's new. The ugly truths bared starkly in these past few months of elections are Iterations of what have always been. We cannot keep pretending or wishing these things away. The question now is, how do we pragmatically address it?

Perhaps, I'm in the minority but I'm now really 'glad' PDP did what it did to Obi and Atiku ran. I'm 'glad' BAT ran a Muslim-Muslim ticket. I'm 'glad' that tribalists/bigots are unhinged & after GRV...Why?

We can't fix what is hidden in the shadows. Bring them all to the light!
I'm very 'glad' the rigging and violence is so stark and irrefutable, I'm glad that the derision against Obi moving to LP/the Obidient movement was so loud by the establishment.

Let everything rotten be unmasked under the glare of light. Only what is acknowledged can be FIXED.
I'm 'glad' many influencers who held themselves as demi-gods unraveled, and everyday citizen took over the narrative on/off social media. I'm glad political "godpapa/mama" were demystified

To get to heaven, we must first "die." Make everything yakata, then we can rebuild better.
