So much factually wrong here. This plan won't solve a GLOBAL migration crisis. Threat of Rw hasnt deterred anyone so far. The HO has never said what the total cost will be, does it even know? 'Britain and Rwanda's joint plan will deter illegal crossings' telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/03/1…
Cruella says this 'sets a new international standard'. It's human trafficking!! Rw is 'welcoming'. So the 13 refugees shot dead by Rw forces in 2018 after a peaceful protest were being 'welcomed', were they?
The 200 people cap is NOT a lie. It was announced last July, Kagame set it. The DT reported it, I think. Rw now says it'll take more. Of course it will - humans for cash!
SB accuses ppl of confusing reception accommodation and resettlement capacity. That's NOT how Hope Hostel was sold originally. The Home Office was confused, no one else was.
What SB fails to mention: Rwanda is on the brink of war with DRC. It's backing M23 rebels in Eastern DRC. Kagame has just told thousands of refugees displaced into Rw to beggar off home. Some welcome Rwanda gives refugees! #STOPRWANDA

Some key Qs none of the lazy ‘client’ journalists who travelled to Rwanda seem to have asked:
The MoU doesn’t mention children. But the HO is now saying it may deport them. Is Rwanda willing and able to take them? Can it refuse to take them?
MoU says UK is obliged to supply certain info to Rw about refugees. This includes DoB, security issues, health issues & special needs. Rwanda can refuse to accept ppl if the UK has failed to provide the info. What if ppl don’t give them the info?
Rw says it won’t take criminals. If refugees arrive in the UK without docs and refuse to give their names and other info, making background checks difficult, how can the UK establish whether or not they are criminals?
