Greetings from Manhattan Criminal Court where a Trump indictment may come any day now.

Not sure what to expect but I’ll be threading any updates here.

Lots of police and media, the latter of who are swarming a group of anti-Trump demonstrators.

Their chant goes something like this:

“Falsifying business records! Guilty guilty guilty!

Money laundering! Guilty guilty guilty!

Tax evasion! Guilty guilty guilty!

Election fraud! Guilty guilty guilty!”

They’re now chanting, “Alvin Bragg, do your job! No one is above the law!”

One guard I passed earlier exclaimed about the scene here, “This is crazy…”

The anti-Trump protesters are now making fun of this guy for misspelling George.

They did the whole “Gimme a G!” chant then asked “What’s that spell?” Then they kinda mumbled “Geo-gre?”

“Antisemites aren’t the best spellers,” the lady with the Trump behind bars poster said.

This guy appears to be cosplaying as a Trump demonstrator. He’s making fun of other guys here with an intentionally misspelled sign. A guy was shouting about dead people voting and this guy started shouting “YES ALL THOSE PEOPLE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE IF THEY HADN’T VOTED”

He just said “Nancy Pelosi and George Soros designed the banking system and Animal Crossing.”

He also said people should go to school board meetings even if they don’t have kids so they don’t teach pronouns.

They’re good jokes.

“Arrest Hunter Biden’s laptop!” was another good line, as was his line about Lincoln’s legacy being tarnished by taking down Confederate statues.

The old dude next to him seems to think he’s legit and is comparing Biden to Ceaușescu

The cosplaying guy was @waltermasterson! A comedian who makes a show of doing this stuff. Ty to those who pointed it out

A tourist lady just walked by and took a selfie in front of an ARREST TRUMP banner and a news photographer took a photo of her doing that.

“Make America Great Again! Lock that bastard up!” this guy shouts.

Media immediately swarm him, as we do for anyone who appears to be the loudest

And now this!

Yes that is a woman with her nipples taped, wearing a trump mask, and dragging herself across the pavement in just a diaper

A consistent difficulty here today has been discerning who is actually a Trump fan and who is mocking them.

RN is the most heated I’ve seen between a pro-Trumper and a guy with a dog yelling at him. The Trumper said he is going to fuck his dad, and the guy said he’d his dad is dead so he’d have to go to the cemetery. Then the guy called his little dog ugly :(

Fact check: the dog is not ugly and is wearing a festive little sweater!

This guy is riding around on a large furry bike and wearing a Trump flag. Again, I cannot confirm whether he is legit but he is screaming “Save America! Trump is the chosen one!”

He also just yelled out to the media, “Yeah film the crazy guy! Get your content right here!” and we all did as we were told

Again, he’s drawing a big crowd

This guy is walking around, ringing a bell and blessing the courthouse and media with a giant crucifix

I am back while my piece is being edited. We are rapidly losing sunlight in this cold ass square. Woman next to me watching video she has filmed of someone screaming “Fuck Joe Biden” on a loop. Mood grim as we contemplate days of this.
