You know how ppl would gain more weight along with their pregnancy? And kaveh well into his 6 months started to feel *really* heavy. Like, his fingers and feet are swollen to the point he couldn't wear his wedding ring and usual shoes.

Not even counting the fact that his clothes, trousers especially, aren't suitable for him to use anymore. He despairs everytime he couldn't pull up his zipper and it's something that he rambles to his husband often.

He knows it's a natural thing to experience, but it sucks!

Kaveh feels like a literal anemo slime that Haitham always teased him about everytime he's angry.

'you both look similar' his husband would say with an amused twist on his lips and Kaveh would shriek indignantly in the past, but now? Not so much coz he could see the resemblance.

It was nearing his 7th month that Kaveh meets his limit and just sobbed in the middle of the night because even his usual oversized sweater couldn't fit on his body anymore and that everything hurts and he missed the feel of their wedding and fav rings on his fingers.

Alhaitham didn't even have the heart to make his usual remarks. He reached out to where kaveh lay and holds him carefully, mind frantically looking for a solution for his emotional wife and his dilemmas.

He knew Kaveh would reject his attempts at buying new clothes and things－

but a glance at his crying wife, round stomach that would grow the further they are, and his swollen feet, Alhaitham is determined to do something that he knew Kaveh won't object to.

With that, he calmed his wife down with a short massage and lots of kisses, Alhaitham plans.

The plan being this:

First, Alhaitham switched their rings. He wears Kaveh's on a necklace, while Kaveh would wear his since his finger is larger size than Kaveh's usual. Next, he gifts Kaveh a pair of fluffy slipper that matched with his, one thing that Alhaitham knew the other

has been eyeing since before Kaveh's pregnancy but he refused to because cutesy couple thing is not his preference.

Now?

Anything for Kaveh.
It's better than using flat slippers that became tight since Kaveh's pregnancy and honestly? The soft fur feels nice on Alhaitham's feet.

Last, he did buy kaveh several new drawstring pants in the softest materials to fit his hips (that way, kaveh could use them normally once he's back to his usual body shape) and lends him several clothes from Alhaitham's wardrobe.

He is larger and taller than Kaveh, so giving his pants won't be a good idea since rolling up pants are a hassle since it would fall easily.

Rolling the sleeves of a shirt/sweater is easier as it actually stays in place.
(And he gets the pleasure of seeing Kaveh in his clothes.)

This way, they won't spend too much budget on new things and Kaveh gets more comfortable in his pregnancy with these ideas Alhaitham give to him.

Once he told Kaveh, the blond teared up again, but now it's a happy tears and gratitude because of how sweet Alhaitham is to him ;)

Anyways, they both knew that these things were only temporary solution, but it serves as a reminder for Kaveh that it's okay to get more things because Alhaitham is here to indulge him.

His husband would do anything to ensure that he's healthy and comfortable in every way.

(Also, Alhaitham already has his eyes on that maternity dresses, Kaveh and his rounded belly would look beautiful in 2-3 of them for sure 😌)

//I just like to think that kaveh would consider it a waste to buy many things in his pregnancy that he wont use again, like he has many clothes so things would fit somehow, but no. He's not prepared at how big he ended up being, he didn't want to splurge, but Alhaitham disagree.
