The Chinese Cruel Cobalt Conundrum in DRC.

Most of the DRC’s largest mines including Dezwia Mine, Kamfundwa Mine, Tenke Fungurume Mine (TFM), Sicomines Copper-Cobalt Mine, Kolwezi Mine, Kamoya Mine, and Ruashi Mine, are under Chinese ownership. #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
In several of the mines owned by Chinese enterprises, a survey of the miners. According to the findings, about 82% of miners reported having skin problems, 85.4% had breathing problems, 52.7% had significant injuries within the previous year, and 12.6% #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
said a family member/friend had passed away within the last two years as a result of a disease, an injury, or a mine collapse brought on by the Cobalt Mining operations. Heavy gear is used in the DRC’s cobalt mining process, #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA
harming the environment and obliterating animal and plant habitats. In addition to producing pollution and health problems, the mining process also releases hazardous compounds and heavy metals into the land and water. Artisanal miners have manually dug #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
almost 20,000 tunnels in Congo. The miners enter the structure without any PPE equipment and use basic tools like hammers, gardening hoes, shafts, and even just their bare hands to dig the tunnels. #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA
These tunnels frequently collapse, suffocating everyone within, including children, in full consciousness. Cobalt mining in the DRC is linked to the trade in conflict minerals, which are minerals that are mined in conflict zones and sold to finance #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
armed groups and militias. There are still over 30,000 children below 14 years and over 70,000 children below 18 years of age who are directly or indirectly employed by the mining companies in Congo. #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
Behemoths in technology such as Apple, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Samsung assert that they only use cobalt that has been ethically mined and supplied, yet the majority of them rely on the smelters’ statements, which are primarily Chinese. #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
Chinese mining of cobalt in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has caused several problems, including:

Environmental degradation Cobalt mining in the DRC involves the use of heavy machinery, which damages the environment and destroys habitats #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
for plants and animals. The mining process also releases toxic chemicals and heavy metals into the soil and water, causing pollution and health risks.
The Tunnels to Hell The official limit of tunnel length is 30 meters, #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
however, this is frequently exceeded. Tunnels can reach heights of up to 90 meters because of poor administration and a lack of incentives to follow rules, which puts people in danger of landslides, collapse, and death. #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
They were extremely hot from the inside and had a lack of Oxygen. We found that, in the DRC alone, artisanal miners have dug approximately 20,000 tunnels by hand. Without a PPE kit, safety helmet, safety (hard) shoes, or gloves, the miners get into the #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
structure. Instead of using modern, complex,
and advanced technologies to dig the tunnel, they used simple instruments like hammers, gardening hoes, shafts, and even sticks and bare hands. These tunnels frequently collapse, crushing everyone #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
within, including minors, alive. It’s a death that’s almost impossible to fathom being so horrible. These tales never transcend Congo as the world simply ignores their stories Land conflicts Cobalt mining in the DRC has often resulted in land #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
conflicts between local communities, mining companies, and government authorities. The government has granted mining concessions to Chinese companies without consulting local communities, #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
leading to the displacement of people and the destruction of their livelihoods. One such case study is unfolding these days in the city of Kolwezi. Victor Fwamba, seeing an open-cast cobalt mine in Kolwezi, in the southeast of the DRC, #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
remarked, “We’re doomed”. Kolwezi, which is home
to more than 5,00,000 people, is situated atop some of the greatest mineral reserves in the world, a gold, copper, and cobalt treasure trove that powers the economies of many #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
countries mining from them. A moat of industrial mines, a sand moonscape with gigantic open pits, access roads, and pylons already encircle
the city. Yet, mining operations are encroaching farther and deeper into the city proper, uprooting #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA
thousands of residents who frequently complain about the unjust treatment. 937 miners even said someone close to them died in the past 2 years due to the disease/ injuries/mines collapse caused by the Cobalt Mining operations #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
Human Rights Abuses

There have been reports of human rights abuses in cobalt mines in the DRC, including child labor, forced labor, and unsafe working conditions. Many of the workers are poorly paid and work in dangerous conditions without #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA
proper safety equipment or training. Children as young as six years old are working in cobalt mines in the DRC. These children work long hours in dangerous conditions, without proper safety equipment or training. Child labor is illegal in the DRC, #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
but it remains a widespread problem in the mining industry. Despite this being a much talked
about issue in the past 6 years, found out that there are still over 30,000 children below 14 years and over 70,000 children below 18 years of age who are #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
directly or indirectly employed by the mining companies in Congo. Africa should Unite and fight these kinds of exploitations coming from the Chinese. The politicians who are helping and allowing these kinds of deals at the expenses and to the #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
disadvantages of their own people should be held accountable for what is happening. Africa resources should be used to the advantage of Africa and not making big profits to foreigners who are exploiting even our own children so #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image
as to maximize on their profits. Enough is Enough Africans should stand for what is theirs. China is now the new colonizer in Africa. Africa for Africans #ENDILLEGALMININGAFRICA Image

Leaked Hillary Clinton Emails Revealed NATO Killed Gaddafi to Stop the formation of a United States of Africa. #GaddafiFilesPart1

Of the 3,000 emails released from Hillary Clinton's private email server in late December 2015, about a third were from her close confidante Sidney Blumenthal. One of these emails, dated April 2, 2011, read in part:Image
Image
"Qaddafi's government holds more than 143 tons of gold and a similar amount in silver ... This gold was accumulated prior to the current rebellion and was intended to be used to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar.

This plan was designed to provide the Francophone African Countries with an alternative to the French franc (CFA)." In a 'source comment', the original declassified email added:Image
"According to knowledgeable individuals this quantity of gold and silver is valued at more than $7 billion. French intelligence officers discovered this plan shortly after the current rebellion began, and this was one of the factors that influenced President Nicolas Sarkozy's decision to commit France to the attack on Libya.

According to these individuals Sarkozy's plans are driven by the following issues:

1. A desire to gain a greater share of Libya oil production,

2. Increase French influence in North Africa,Image

"I do not want to miss a good chance of getting us a slice of this magnificent African cake." - Leopold II of Belgium

Before Hitler killed 6 million Jews. King Leopold Il of Belgium killed over 10 million Africans in Congo and amputated the arms of countless others.

After the Berlin conference of 1884-1885 (conference where European nations established the 'legal' claim that all of Africa could be occupied by whomever could take it), different European nations set out to mount their flags all over Africa.

The nations set out murdering Africans, and then taking their wealth to make Europe wealthier. King Leopold II set out for the Congo and declared it his territory proclaiming it his property, the people and the land, quickly turning the land into a money-making enterprise.

Congo was rich in many minerals, but at the time it was richer in ivory and rubber. He set up a system that was extremely harsh on the people a system that, if they did not reach regular rubber collection quotas, he murdered and mutilated the indigenous people.
King Leopold II’s government declared that rubber harvesting was a necessary tax that would be paid to the crown by those who lived on the land. This literally meant that Leopold took the lands and wealth of a people and obliged them to work on their own land as slaves.

The rubber industry in Europe was booming and he had to meet the demands of the market. As punishment for not fulfilling the quota they cut-off of your limb or get murdered.Image

The San tribe has been living in Southern Africa for at least 30,000 years and they are believed to be not only the oldest African tribe, but quite possibly the world's most ancient race. The San have the most diverse and distinct DNA than any other indigenous African group. Image
The San are descendants of Early Stone Age ancestors. Clans and loosely connected family groups followed seasonal game migrations between mountain range and coastline. They made their homes in caves, under rocky overhangs or in temporary shelters.
These migratory people do not domesticate animals or cultivate crops, even though their knowledge of both flora and fauna is vast. The San categorized thousands of plants and their uses, from nutritional to medicinal, mystical to recreational and lethal.

NEGROES IN MEXICO BEFORE COLUMBUS

The Olmecs, a Negroid Afrikan race, were highly talented sculptors and artists who were best known for their cave paintings and carved colossal stonework. The Olmec was the first great ancient Mesoamerican civilization that flourished along Image
Mexico's gulf coast region. Ancient Mexican wall paintings clearly depicted these "Negroid" rulers as Afrikan. The Olmecs were Moors from the Dogon tribe in Mali, Afrika, who migrated over the Bering Strait as early as 100,000 years ago to America, which they called Utla in
their Cushite language. This migration included Pygmies, Negroes and Black Australoids similar to the indigenous Black people of Australia, parts of Asia and India. The Mayans were the descendants of these Malian Moors who were referred to as Black Mexicans or Quetzacoatl. Image

The Battle of Adwa, 1 March, 1896.

127 years ago, on the 1st of March 1896, the Ethiopian Empire under Menelik II inflicted the greatest military defeat on a European colonial power during the Scramble for Africa, when they decisively defeated the Italians at the battle of Adwa Image
Over 100.000 Ethiopians bore down on the c. 14,500 Italian and Ascari troops with an unovercomable zeal, that has since become legendary. What follows is a rundown of the battle, from “Armies of of the Adowa Campaign 1896”, by Sean McLachlan.
“THE BATTLE
The attacks on Albertone’s command

It was Ras Alula’s scouts who sighted Albertone’s troops as they came into position; despite being on the Ethiopian left (north) wing, and thus furthest from Albertone’s brigade, the victor of Dogali was the first to spot them
