He apparently went into some sort of trance either until Nai brought it up as a part of the process, including the part where some of his roots snapped off & sunk into the ground. “They’ll regenerate,” Nai reassured. “You’ll see… In a few months, our seedlings will surface.” +

Count him confused, but excited. If it’s true, then their future children will come up… from the dirt, right? Very different from humans, but sure!

Nai told him to visit the same spot where his roots sunk in, that he’ll notice a difference in the coming weeks. So, he did. +

At first, nothing. Yeah, Nai told him to wait, but he just wants to see what he was talking about! Everyday, he visited the same spot, brushing his fingers across the grass, feeling for something, anything.

It was until one early morning when he came out that he saw something. +

Something. The light glow of Vash’s markings resonated, a familiar feeling he knew all too well. Vash’s excitement skyrocketed. Had Nai caught his hand from behind before a second thought, he would’ve touched the purple flower. Nai stilled a short disapproved look with a shake +

Of his head before smiling. “When it time, they will bloom.” His markings were glowing softly as well.

Nai’s smile broadened. “Can you hear them, too? It’s like talking to our sisters. They won’t be able to answer, not yet… but I’m certain they can hear us.”

(Did not mean to make it this long. Just had a short idea & it kept getting longer. Sorry if it sounds half-assed because it kinda is— I’m very tired lol)
