I’m so excited to read this .
Okay I just finished the first chapter and it’s awesome! Sexytimes right off the bat & I am so intrigued.
I just found the playlist too, and listening to it. I love it! 🛼
2nd chapter and OMFG I love the idea of polearoke! I love scrappy Rey in this one and she definitely has her heart guarded. And she sings a duet with Ben, “nothing’s gonna stop us now”. This is the 2nd Reylo fic I have read where that has happened so, it’s fanon now!

1947 - Rey Johnson leaves Shelbyville, Iowa to follow her dream of breaking into movies in Hollywood. She is referred to a famous agent for First Order Studios, and soon finds herself preparing for a screen test
with the "King of Hollywood", Kylo Ren.

Increasingly bitter about being typecast in swashbuckler films, Kylo is disillusioned and angry...and is becoming a huge liability for the studio, with his boozy benders and temperamental behaviour on set.
Kylo sees something in the young ingenue that makes him warn her and protect her from the studio system, despite her misgivings about him.

It’s been 4 years and I am still reading Reylo. I keep thinking, I’ll stop! Then Adam Driver does something super sexy, like act, or just breathe and someone brilliant writes an amazing Reylo fic, and am right back to it. “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”
I am enormously grateful for every single Reylo writer out there, sharing your work, talents and creativity with us. Our fandom has attracted incredible writers. In 2021, the former Ever-So-Reylo landed on the NYT Bestseller list with what was formerly a beloved Reylo fic.
I have no doubt there will be others to publish professionally in 2022. We are so lucky with the talent we are blessed in this fandom. Without further ado, welcome to my fourth annual Reylo fic favourites list.
