The novel was previously announced earlier last week that it will be adapted into a web drama with 'All of Us are Dead' star Yoon Chanyoung and 'Unintentional Love Story' star Won Taemin as possible main leads.

The sudden change in the plot garnered mixed reactions from the fans.
One netizen pointed out that the production company should've used another story rather than using the novel then removing its BL element which is one of the selling points of the story.
