I have visited tiktok in my free time the past few days and i have to say as somebody who likes shorts. Tiktok is the most retarded and poisonous invention since social media itself. Anybody under the age of 30 exposed to this is going to be made dumber. it should be banned
not only is it addictive by design (this isnt the worst part)

the trends are based around ease of production of the short. So "anybody" can do them. This means the dumbest members of society are steering it.

People miss the forest from the trees with trump. And assign misplaced value to his retardation and fights with the media.

His success was from policy. The gop for 40 years was a thinktank of "how to reduce taxes". Trump made it about real issues like immigration and industry
Post-2020 anybody assigning value to trump himself when his playbook can be applied to literally any candidate is mistaken. Trumps downsides at this point outweigh his upsides by a massive margin.

The media exposed itself in 2015/16 and it will never recover its power
so people arguing "well trump was just so based and didnt give a fuck" doesnt work out. Desantis and frankly every other republican has fully adopted trumpist framing regarding the media. You dont need trump for this anymore.
