And the secret to birthing BIG IDEAS is to shift your mindset from a consumer to that of a creator.

Ideas are found:

But, the creator is the genius that consumes, creates, and applies.

How to capture ideas?

Dan Koe created a space called “The Queue”.

- Ideas that are troubling you
- Interesting parts from books
- Quotes from people you admire
- Tweets that capture your attention
- Titles of blog posts, Youtube videos, and podcasts

Chances are, your “brilliant” idea will spark a release of dopamine in the brain of your reader.

Consume content from your favorite:

- Authors
- Podcasts & blogs
- Social media accounts

This empowers you to learn.

This empowers you to think.

And you can take their ideas and turn them into “original” ideas of your own.

Most people flood their brains with BIG IDEAS but don’t take the time to put their ideas into action.

Idea creation is an art.

If you’re writing online, it’s your duty to schedule it into your routine.

Here’s the step-by-step:

- What you’re writing about

2. Braindump:
- Write everything down about the topic you’re writing about

3. Reference:
- What’s the origin of your idea?
- Where did it come from?

4. BIG PROBLEM:
- How can you help solve the BIG PROBLEM of your reader?

@thedankoe 5. BIG BENEFIT:
- How does this solve the problem of your reader?

6. Objections:
- What are the common objections?

7. Personal Experience:
- Any personal experiences tied to your topic?

8. Framework:
- Can you create a solution for overcoming the problem?

Now, with all the information you’ve collected, summarize it into a simple BIG IDEA.

This creates:

- Depth
- Experience
- Transformation

Now...ask yourself:

- What’s the transformation taking place?
- Can you make it easier to achieve that change?
- Can you make the problem big enough it would be foolish not to solve it?

Find ways to solve problems.
