📌JEFF TALKS ABOUT HIS LOVE STORIES AND HOW HIS SONGS DEPICTS THEM: "IT TOOK ME 2-3 YEARS TO CONFESS MY ONE-SIDED LOVE, BUT THE END WAS DISAPPOINTING"
Thai singer/actor Jeff Satur shared his experiences in love in his interview with Woody. The singer bravely told his first +
love, longest relationship, and even his heartbreak.
According to him, his first love happened during his younger days and he wass silling to do everything to keep the relationship, even sacrificing taxi rides just to save money to spend on the person he loves.
"When I was +
trying to be in love, I don't want to lose them. I tried so hard that my weekly money, it was around 1000-2000 baht, I had to manage that money by myself. But that money should be able to pay for them, something like that," Jeff opened up.
"Normally I'd take taxi home +
everyday, but taxi fare was quite expensive so I chose to take a bus to the university gate, took public van to my village, and took motorcycle service to my house so I could save the money to spend with them," he confessed.
"I did not tell my mom, otherwise she would scold me +
or she would give me more money. But I did not want to bother her. It should be our own responsibility to manage that," he explained.
Jeff also shared his one-sided love experience and how he waited years to confess. He also said that his songs were inspired from his real life +
experiences and LOOP was written to tell this heartbreak.
"There's this love, it's a one-sided love. My songs are written from the story of my life. For example, the song named LOOP came from the experience that I loved someone, I had a crush, and I didn't dare to tell them. +
2-3 years had passed and I still didn't tell them. It became this song. Like... today is yesterday's tomorrow," he revealed.
"Today is just one time. The moment we're having together is just now. If you want to tell them, you should just tell it now because tomorrow does not +
exist," he continued.
When asked why it took him 2-3 years back then to confess, Jeff said that it was because he was scared of disappointment.
"I felt like i wasn't ready to accept disappointment [back then] because I knew it won't be a happy ending as I wished. But in the +
end, it was still disappointing. There was no twist at all," he continued sharing, laughing at the end result.
Jeff also shared about his long term relationship.
"There was a long term relationship and it was a good relationship that taught me a lot of things," said Jeff.
"Like I told you, I wrote songs from my story. But there's not much love songs [in my songs]. There are more sad songs because actually, pain stays with us longer than happiness. The picture of that feeling is more obvious and I'm the person that relates to pain. And I wanted +
to release it out, so I did it through my songs."
He also shared what he things is the most painful thing in a relationship.
"I think the most painful thing in a relationship is when we have to leave them without saying goodbye and we still have to be in the situation that +
they were here before. I think this is very painful, when we're not ready to let them go. Like one of my love songs. I wrote that in onee song called FADE. "To wish the song I listen doesn't remind me of you." Because the song we listen, even if it's finished, every time we +
listen to the same song, the feeling I felt when I listen at that time would always come back. So it makes me realize that this is the most painful suffering in terms of relationship, if it has to end," he explained.
