UPDATE: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu today commissioned the Oba Sekumade Concrete Road in Ikorodu LGA, which provides access to the Ikorodu lighter terminal, Ebute Ipakodo, Ikorodu town, Ibeshe, Igbogbo and several other communities.

#GreaterLagosRising
The construction of the road was originally awarded by the Federal Government to Messrs Guffanti in the early eighties as a single carriageway. Since then there had been several interventions at different points.
The Conversion of the Ikorodu lighter terminal to a container terminal caused a massive increment in truck volume and axle loads caused a rapid deterioration of the Oba Sekunmade Road.
In 2020, Governor @jidesanwoolu included Oba Sekumade Road for upgrading to a Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP) awarded to Messrs Arab Contractors O.A.O Nig Ltd and physical construction work commenced in January 2021.
Governor @jidesanwoolu assured the residents of Ikorodu LGA on the completion of other road projects across the division: The Agric Isawo road, Igbogbo Bola Tinubu Igbe Road, The Adamo-Akanun Agunfoye road, the Ewu Elepe to Gberigbe road & Igbogbo Bayeku road constructions.

BE WARY OF ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT LAGOS BLUE LINE RAIL

The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) is in receipt of an obviously doctored video clip showing 4 people purportedly pushing one of the train sets to be deployed for passenger operations for the Blue Line Image
From investigation, we discovered that the train was clearly moving, and this is an old video clip showing the contractor’s staff horsing around the train when it first came.
The area now, since the commissioning by President Muhammadu Buhari, has flags all around it as well as steel protective guard. Posting this video at this time is obviously the work of mischief makers.
