This year Polkadot Decoded in Copenhagen is costing €1.4 million for 2 days..
This is before the hundreds of thousands spend for satellite venues (US/China/Latam) - worth it for an echo chamber?
Cost breakdown below..

Hmmm conferences are expensive e.g. EthDenver ($172k), Sub0 ($425k), Token2049 ($220k).
Ok, but who knew a 1 day virtual online WASM conference by @supercolony_vs would be $155k who then lost the money and asked for another $104k from Treasury??
where's the updates? ROI?

Do you like this @MessariCrypto report below. Hope so as each one costs the treasury $30k each quarter plus more for annual ones.
Article says 'commissioned by @Web3foundation' but turns out that actually means costs passed to Treasury...worth it?
You might be reading as want to see the Grifts - that 🧵 is coming - too many to write now.
In meantime what about the time Treasury spent $39,000 on sign language tutorials (not just subtitles?!?). 9 months later see youtube - has 9 vids, with 10 views average...refund pls

The treasury is being depleted and it will only get worse with OpenGov coming to #DOT.
As token holders on a decentralised chain you will need to vote to stop incoming grifters.
The above are just interesting spends from #DOT treasury, wait until you see the $KSM ones..
