It is Saturday and I could manage to spare some more time at the airport instead of being at home and discovering with new eyes an environment familiar and special to me.
The first thing is, you don’t queue and even if you do, doesn’t really matter. But seriously I didn’t.

The duty free, I’ve took the time to discover an incredible number of fragrances that I didn’t even know where on the market. Shoutout to Hermes, Chanel, Guerlain, Givenchy. The quality of “commercial” #fragrances stepped up incredibly.
Walking around the airport you discover an incredible amount of people that; of course you are used to see; but at the airport they are just getting more interesting. From anywhere to anywhere, stories and feelings, souls, ideas. Anything can just reach new height here.
The shops, which are the same in most of the city centers has a purpose that sometimes I can define beyond shopping. They let you feel at home when abroad.
Starbucks is a coffee must but let‘s not forget the incredible number of shops as small/medium business that are offering alternatives; remembering to us that freedom is also about freedom of choice.
I am sat, waiting my flight details, looking around this very vivid environment in a mega sunny Saturday, enjoying the sun from a big window that faces the runway with airplanes landing and departing; next to me beautiful families. It is a joyful moment.
