Family member is in the ER with congestion and suspected stroke. Close family also in contact has congestion. No one wants to say the word “covid”. Honestly I am hoping for the best. I just can’t believe their denial to say the word “covid”.
Update: Covid+
I feel bad for this person bc they have Alzheimer’s and were unable to make choices for themselves. They got sick because of everyone else’s choices around them.
~85 years old and denied both #Paxlovid and #Remdesivir. No one will ask why and no one will push it. Even though I tried. 🙏💖
Like who are they saving it for? Seriously.
One family member said “Are they TRYING to kill [sick person’s name]?” And I was shocked because this person was a covid minimizer until it put someone they cared about in the hospital. But the rest of the family members couldn’t seem to care less about their own family.
One family member is sick and visited the hospitalized person (before the person went into the hospital) and was called out on it and denies being sick. Now, they’re saying the person in the hospital exposed them and won’t test.
Which could be true. Either person could have exposed either person. But not testing seems like a way to avoid any kind of responsibility for what happened.

Ok I know this is gonna be gross/TMI but has anyone used a RAT/lamp/pcr kit to test for covid in poop/semen? Seriously curious about viral persistence and no one wants to talk about it.
Update: Someone on Twitter did test their 💩 and pet’s 💩 and it was covid+
But can RAT/Lamp/PCR detect covid in those who have tested positive for covid in semen? Wondering because it’s been detected in testicles and yeah I mean 2 people could have sex with p100s and ventilation. And the CDC had a page up about wearing a condom 6 weeks after infection.
