A mentor once summed up organizing to me as “give people something to do.”
When you find a voter who’s already with you, ask if they can recruit three more friends to vote. Did that just now, and got an enthusiastic “did that already, but now I’ll do it again!”

DOGS OF MADISON—or, I guess, Twitter-using owners of dogs in Madison—we need your help to Pet Out The Vote! Meet me and Pumpkin on Library Mall at noon on Election Day, and bring your goodest doggos.
In 2022, the very first Pet Out The Vote on the UW-Madison campus was a huge success. The dogs were thrilled. The student voters were delighted. And Gov. Evers won by 3.4%. Just imagine what's possible when we Pet Out The Vote this coming Tuesday!
Even if you're not in Madison, I'd be grateful for your help in getting this out. For every 10 retweets of this thread, I'll add a photo of Pumpkin, my own pup!
FINAL FOUR DAYS: It’s the last weekend before Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election. All across the state, organizers and volunteers are talking to voters and getting out the vote. This is our final chance. Help us meet our final midnight deadline to fund it: secure.actblue.com/donate/eoq_mar…
In four days, Wisconsinites will head to the polls and make a choice.
Fair and just Judge Janet Protasiewicz.
Or radical MAGA extremist Dan Kelly.
Reproductive freedom is on the ballot. Dan Kelly would shred any chance we have at protecting access to safe and legal abortion care in Wisconsin. It’s a future Wisconsinites can’t afford. apnews.com/article/aborti…
Five days to the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. In this final stretch, progressives are being outspent. We’re seeing floods of GOP attacks. Yet I’d rather be us than them—because we’re fighting for freedom, democracy, and justice. Help fuel the last push: secure.actblue.com/donate/5days_m…
To understand this race, read this blockbuster piece from @michelleinbklyn—which makes clear exactly how pivotal this race is going to be. And it documents the viciously dishonest GOP smear campaign currently underway. nytimes.com/2023/03/30/opi…
The ads and attacks the Republicans are running range from outright falsehoods to profoundly inaccurate retraumatizations of victims of serious crimes. Why are they willing to do this? Because it’s critical to their hold on power. jsonline.com/story/news/pol…
SEVEN DAYS: The stakes in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race keep rising. Dan Kelly, the MAGA extremist candidate, has taken a chilling turn to the fringe. Read on—and then chip in to help us defeat him: secure.actblue.com/donate/wi_v_ex…
Last week, Dan Kelly spoke at an event where the preceding speaker was an ultra-extremist who had previously argued that murdering abortion providers is “justifiable homicide”—Matthew Trewhella. jsonline.com/story/news/pol…
Trewhalla was investigated by the FBI for possible links to an actual murder of an abortion provider.
🚨NEW AD: In Racine—WI’s 5th biggest city—it’s MAGA extremist Henry Perez against incumbent Dem mayor Cory Mason. Let’s make sure Racine voters know just how extreme Perez truly is. Watch, read more, and chip in to help @MayorCoryMason:
Henry Perez proudly bragged on Facebook about attending Trump rallies—in 2020. Now, he’s strategically not mentioning Trump in his campaign. Racine deserves better than a would-be MAGA mayor trying to slip undetected into an office that will help oversee the 2024 elections.
Perez isn’t just a fan of Donald Trump—he’s a fan of groups pushing abortion bans. Racine voters should know that if Henry Perez takes office, he could be in the driver’s seat for diverting law enforcement from public safety to investigating abortions.
HAPPENING NOW: Wisconsin’s Supreme Court candidates are about to start their debate. Follow along here or watch live: wispolitics.com/2023/watch-liv…
Not much at stake other than the future of freedom and democracy in Wisconsin, the state that tilts American democracy one way or the other in presidential elections
