The once thriving South Africa has collapsed. Years of political instability, corruption, and economical decline have pushed the nation to the point of no return. Let's dive into how it all unfolded.
/2
The root of the problem lies in years of government corruption, spearheaded by the now infamous Zuma administration. The following administrations failed to adequately address the issues, leaving the nation's economy crippled. And leaving millions without work.
/3
Another major contributing factor was the alarming rise in crime rates. Unemployment skyrocketed, and as a result, the country became a hotbed for criminal activity. This further destabilized the nation and substantially lowered foreign investment.
/4
The crippling power crisis, with widespread blackouts due to mismanagement of the national power utility ESKOM, only added to the chaos. Businesses struggled to stay afloat, and the economy took another massive hit. The populace went hungry as a result.
/5
South Africa's water crisis also played a significant role. Water scarcity, aging infrastructure, and pollution made water a luxury for many. This further exacerbated the living conditions and drove more people into poverty and had a direct increase in riots.
/6
Social unrest grew, with protests and riots becoming increasingly common. South Africans demanded change and accountability, but their cries went largely unheard. The nation was left divided and in turmoil. Race based laws and politics being a big factor here.
/7
The global community watched in horror as the once prosperous nation spiraled into chaos. The collapse of South Africa has not only affected its citizens but also sent shockwaves throughout the African continent and the world.
/8
The collapse of South Africa serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of corruption, mismanagement, and neglect. The rebuilding process will be a long and arduous journey. Will South Africa rise from the ashes? Only time will tell.
/9
If communities don't pull together, this will be the final headline for South Africa. Accept it, and work with your communities to avoid this.

When you discuss the South African situation, you're a "racist". But how can one not see it happening? And then what, just accept it? Keep quiet?

South Africa is a beautiful country and home to many unique languages and cultures, such as the Afrikaner (or Boer). We have a base load of around 70 million people, access to both sea and land trade and are considered a great tourist destination.
3. We live in a truly beautiful country. A place like no other. Our winters are short, and summers long.. our country is huge too. I love this land, as did my forefathers who built it. But here is what they're not telling you.
2. City Power has an average turn around time of 2 to 3 days for grid repairs. They don't have the manpower, supplies nor funds. And they've already used this year's budget.
3. We're seeing an increase in coordinated attacks on water, power and comms infrastructure.
