Let's talk about @AgoristN: a self-purported anarchist/agorist org whose social media account posts and shares both misinformation and bigotry, such as transphobia. Examples below in order of date, though I may have missed other examples:

First off, we have the account retweeting a claim that leftists force or make their kids trans in order to "show how tolerant and inclusive they are." Instead of people being just naturally trans, it's being pushed on them by their "leftist parents."

The original poster goes on to imply that being trans is a choice, rather than something innate like being gay. Not only devaluing the lived experience of trans people, but also the science in regards to being trans and gender dysphoria.

Next, we have the Agorist Nexus account again retweeting more transphobia. This time it's equating the movement and fight for trans rights as being pushed by corporations and banks such as Goldman-Sachs, equating it with vaccines and Pfizer or protesting for McDonald's(?)

Instead of thinking that maybe people are trying to fight for the rights of trans people on their own volition, it has to apparently be artificial, influenced and pushed by the economic elite, and thus makes it bad.

Now some misinformation: the article they cited here had been deleted later on from the website that published it. It can be found on WayBack, which shows it uses anecdotal evidence of *one man not wanting to date vaccinated people* as proof that women are lying about vax status.

Yet again, more transphobia: devaluing the experience of trans people, resorting to bio-essentialism to make their point. How this has any alignment with anarchist or agorist values is beyond me, with a fair amount of agorists and anarchists I know being trans.

All that was last year, others I've probably missed; now some stuff this year.
Disrespect of nonbinary pronouns, which while innocuous at first glance, seems a continuation of the general transphobia posted by the account.

This also coincides with this tweet, devaluing and making fun of nonbinary people for identifying as nonbinary. There's a common trend of transphobia by this account.

What seems also common, though not as much, is the spreading of misinformation. This is a fake article, with the Make-A-Wish Foundation never practicing such discrimination, as said in their vaccine policy: wish.org/news-releases/…

Missed the transphobia? Here's some more, where being trans is equated to culture appropriation, with people being accepting of trans people and are against cultural appropriation made out to be NPCs and hypocrites.

Another round of transphobia, directly posted by the account. Trans women in sports are made out as "insecure, mediocre men," even though they performed worse after starting to transition medically. Lia Thomas, for example, didn't beat the fastest speeds, still held by cis woman.

It also assumes they transitioned purely to beat the sport, even though they still continue to be trans afterwards, and even though transitioning decreased their performances rather than improved them.

Now, what good is transphobia if there isn't also some gay bashing? Here we have the account saying that Disney is supposedly forcing being gay onto everything they make, and thus to everyone who consumes Disney's content.

(Even though Disney primarily uses cis-straight characters, censors gay relationships to be straight in other countries, or plans on cancelling successful shows with gay protagonists, such as the Owl House, but sure, let's say they're forcing the gay onto everyone)

Again, sharing a post saying that Disney is not only forcing being gay into everything, but also being trans too. Double homophobic/transphobic whammy.

And of course, can't have any of that without a good bit of anti-semitism! Here Agorist Nexus retweets a post containing an image using the Happy Salesmen anti-semitic symbol, implying Jews are to blame for pornography, sex-trafficking, cancer, etc.

More transphobia, with implications that the state/army are pandering to trans people, instead of being a force of oppression that can be used against trans people.

This is a mix of transphobia and misinformation, because 1) no 4 year old is getting that kind of surgery for trans people, and 2) no one is arguing for a 4 year old to get that kind of surgery. It's strawmanning trans issues.

As well as that, we have the misinformation of sharing a flyer supposedly from the Irish Health Agency, citing sudden death as a side-effect of the covid vaccine. The flyer is fake, it was not made by that agency: apnews.com/article/fact-c…

And lastly, a mix of anti-semitism and misinformation: the article is not real, and the mexican president is given "laser eyes," denoting him as a cool or based individual for being anti-semitic.

That any of this--the transphobia, the misinformation, the anti-semitism--was seen as acceptable to post onto the Agorist Nexus (an anarchist and agorist organization) official twitter but the person who runs it is beyond me, and antithetical to the ideas of anarchism.

Those who've participated with the org, such as @InsanityIsFree or @SekMcGora, are not to blame: there are consistent anarchists with the org, and both Sek and jeremiah have spoken against such messaging.

However, this cannot excuse that this is what is being posted and shared as if it's in agreement with anarchism. It should not be ignored, and should be made known to everyone who supports this org (I wonder what @presearchnews thinks of this?)

I can't control who people support or don't support. But I can at least make it known what the person running the account is doing, and that, for the sake of the Agorist Nexus and for the good anarchists that work with them, it must change.

Another note: The person who runs this account has been already been confronted with posting about these things before. We've negotiated 2 times before with him, and thought we were at an understanding that he should not post this. Apparently, we were not on the same page.
