For the last few days I've been building Cognosys - it's a web based version of AutoGPT/babyAGI

And I'm happy to finally launch the beta version today!

It's 100% free:
cognosys.ai
I built this to make things easier for folks struggling to set it up locally

I'm hoping this makes AI Agents a bit easier to use
A couple of notes:

This is still a super early version, and I'm working on adding a lot more feature!

Looking for feedback so leave a comment!
In the future I'm going to add:

- search capabilities
- custom agents
- gpt4
- running it offline
Also unlike AutoGPT it doesn't have search yet (sorry, i wanted to get this version out)

Im working on getting that out ASAP

AutoGPT, AI Agents are all the buzz. The hype is only getting stronger,

But you know what everyone isn’t talking about?

The implications it has to our society.

Let’s take a look:
So by now sure you’ve played with a variation of AutoGPT, and you understand how powerful it is.

But we’re just scratching the surface.
Imagine a world where you can just tell AutoGPT what you want to build or create, and it will do it for you in minutes or hours.

No need to hire developers, designers, writers, or any other professionals.

No need to learn any coding skills or tools.
No need to worry about… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

By 2025 Autonomous AI Agents will be in every aspect of life.

They've been out for a week - and already the possibilities are mind-blowing.

But what are they? How did we just figure them out and whats next for us?

I'll try my best to explain. Buckle up, its gonna be a douzey
Ok so what exactly are agents? On a high level they are:

An AI system that, given a task, runs in a loop until the task is solved

Basically the AI gets assigned a goal, figures out what it needs to do to accomplish that goal (on its own), and then spawns more AI to do it.
Simple right? What's the catch? Well there isn't.

The concept of agents aren't that complicated and aren't new either. They been around for a few months.

Its only recently that they were brought into popularity by @yoheinakajima with his masterful demonstration of babyAGI.

AutoGPT is taking the internet by storm. Its everywhere.

They’re basically AI agents that run by itself, and complete tasks for you.

The best part is you can set it up yourself, and have your own 🤖 doing your bidding for you in less 30 minutes.

Heres how:
Ok first up: You will need to know how to run terminal commands. Thats about it.

Then go and do these things :
- git setup
- download python
- download docker desktop
- Get an OpenAI Api Key

Whoa.. still not convinced of AI Agents? This might change your mind...

I pretended to be a fake shoe company and gave AutoGPT a simple objective:
- Do market research for waterproof shoes
- Get the top 5 competitors and give me a report of their pros & cons

Here's how it went:
First: It went straight to google to find the top 5 waterproof shoes reviews.

Once it found links, it created questions for itself like

"What are the pros and cons of each shoe"
"What are the pros and cons of each top 5 waterproof shoe"
"Top 5 waterproof shoes for men"
It continued to analyze the various sites, with a combination of googling, updating its queries, until it was happy with the results.

Here's an example of when it thought "critically".

It knew that some reviews could be biased to fake, so it had to validate the reviewer.

Tesla is now making navigation a monthly subscription.

From now on, any Tesla purchased will lose its navigation after 8 years.

The subscription? Only 9.99. Not much, but the premise behind locking features for a purchase that's tens of thousands of $$ is alarming. A short🧵 Tesla model 3 navigation menu
For context, Tesla isn't the only auto manufacturer to start charging for services like this.

You may have seen it before: BMW was planning on charging for heated seats, Mercedes for heated
steering wheels, Toyota with remote start, etc.

But why?
Easy, SaaS models are great. They're proven, the revenue is predictable, almost every large tech company does it, and it makes share holders happy.

However, most SaaS companies offer SOFTWARE services which improve over time, unlike heated seats.

There has never been a worst time in the last 30 years to buy a vehicle. Within the span of 2 years, cars went from being the largest depreciating asset one owned, to doing better than most of our stock portfolios, and I’ll explain exactly why🧵
To get a better understanding of the insanity which is the car market, lets start with a number that we’re all familiar with: 9.1% (CPI for June). New & used cars are a large portion of that. New vehicles rose 11% yoy and used cars 7.3%.
But percentages don't do a good job at painting the whole picture so here are the raw numbers:

2 years ago:

Average new car: 38k
Average used car: 20k

So what about 2022?

Average new car: 50k (+24%)
Average used car: 31k (+35%) Used car price index - carg...
