My theory on the timeline between #TheMandalorian and the Sequels

- Thrawn becomes Heir to the Empire
- But just like Legends, he eventually fails, presumably the end of Ahsoka
- Other Warlords may work with Thrawn, Gideon, Sloane, but all have their own agendas

Currently:
- Captain Pellaeon = Grand Admiral Thrawn's representative on Shadow Council
- Brendol Hux is Grand Admiral Rae Sloane's representative on Shadow Council

It's similar to Rebels and Thrawn Treason in many respects. Moffs/Governors sometimes had an Admiral or even a Grand Admiral they worked with to protect their sector.
3/9
They worked with governors/admirals of other regions, but they overall had their own focal area. For example, Govenror Pryce was in charge of Lothal, and Thrawn's primary task was assisting her.
4/9
This is exactly what Gideon is doing in The Mandalorian. His primary focus is Mandalore and will search aboard for the Mandalorian, just like Thrawn and Pryce were doing to find the Spectres and Phoenix Squadron.
5/9
After Thrawn's demise, presumably at the end of Ahsoka, Grand Admiral Sloane gains even more power on Shadow Council than she already has held. Eventually becoming the leader. By c.11 ABY, Rae Sloane realizes that the remnants need to go into hiding to survive.
6/9
Sloane and Hux unite them and form what eventually becomes the First Order. Sloane and Hux retreat to Unknown Regions.

Gideon doesn't retreat and probably the same with some other members of the Shadow Council.
7/9
After all, they are all Imperial Remnant leaders and are all power-hungry. Gideon's demise WILL be in a future season of the Mandalorian.
8/9
- Gideon is still the primary villain of the Mandalorian.
- Thrawn will be the primary villain Ahsoka
- Sloane forms the First Order
Currently they're all leaders of different Imperial remnants. The remnants are sort-of working together, but they still have their own goals.
9/9
Thrawn still has a high chance of surviving the Ahsoka series
In that case, he will most likely meet his demise in Filoni's upcoming movie.
I'm thinking of Thrawn as most feared public face of the Empire during the time period, doing his own thing. Meanwhile, while Sloane is secretly building and connecting other Warlords and consolidating them into the groundworks of the First Order.
