Starship’s Previous Test Flights! 🚀

From Starhopper to SN5 to SN15’s landing, we have already seen numerous prototypes take flight. Let’s take a look back…
Starhopper

After Starhopper completed its tethered flights, the vehicle hopped to 20m and 150m in 2019, creating quite the spectacle.
Next up were SN5 and SN6’s 150m hops!

Both proved to be a success and paved the way for future flights.
In December 2020, a full Starship prototype took flight for the first time and though it ended in an explosion, SN8’s flight was a major success for SpaceX.

SN9, SN10 and SN11 also all went on to experience anomalies until SN15 nailed the landing in May 2021.
Nearly 2 years later since the last test flight, Starship Super Heavy is ready for its maiden flight.

Let’s light this candle! 🔥 Image
