- Barça paid €7.3M over 17 years to the active head of referees
- Laporta quadrupled his salary
- The Prosecutor's Office does NOT accuse Barça of paying referees, but paying the head of referees (CTA) to influence refereeing.
1/3
- The invoices (to Negreira) do not correspond to any real technical advisory service.
- In his statement to the Treasury, Negreira stated that he was paid by FCB to ensure that everything was “neutral”.
- These are the functions of the CTA according to the RFEF regulations 👇🏻
- It is the Treasury who discovered the plot (FCB tried to deduce Negreira's false invoices) and transmitted the information to the BCN Prosecutor's Office, who denounced the club.
- Sique Rodriguez (Barca journalist) was the first to filter the exclusive with the approval of FCB
PS: CTA stands for "Comité Tecnico de Arbitros" which means "Technical Committee of Referees", the institution that Negreira was on its head during the time of the payments. It is the institution that is fully responsible of everything referee related in Spain.
RFEF is the name of the Spanish Football Federation.

When a leader is facing charges of continued corruption and is given an opportunity to address the issue, it is expected that they would take responsibility and provide a transparent explanation about every single topic regarding their scandal.
However, using that platform to deflect blame onto others, distort the situation, manipulate and attack your rivals who have nothing to do with your scandal is not only unethical but also hypocritical.
A corrupt person who attempts to lecture others on ethics lacks credibility
and undermines their own integrity. It is unacceptable for a leader who's club is facing charges of "continued corruption" and "referee influence" try to divert attention from their own wrongdoing by making baseless accusations against others or bringing up unrelated past events.
Fun fact: Barcelona "bought" Di Stéfano from River Plate, which wasn't even the club Di Stefano played for at the time of the purchase. Real Madrid bought him from the club he actually was playing for, Millionarios FC. Both teams contested eachother in court. The verdict was (1)
for Di Stéfano to play a season in Barcelona and a season in Madrid, and to keep switching season after season. Real Madrid agreed with the decision of the court, while Barcelona didn't and chose to have their money back and withdraw from the deal.
Your Joseph Goebbels-esque propagandist tricks to fool and brainwash the casuals and ignorants don't work anymore little man, especially since you're getting prosecuted for continued corruption as we speak.
Postponed the conference every week for 3 months because he knew he had no explanations and was caught in a corner. Makes the conference and instead of giving explanations and answering real questions, he cries about Real Madrid, and his fans applaud him.
Still no explanations.
A populist is a political leader who seeks to gain support by appealing to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people, often by using simple slogans and emotional appeals rather than substantive policies or actions. Populists often present themselves as champions of the people
but they may lack concrete plans or solutions for the complex issues facing society. Instead, they rely on catchy slogans and empty promises to sell their followers illusions of change and progress. Ultimately, populism can lead leads to disappointment and disillusionment.
This is your friendly reminder that Eden Hazard, who cost €110M and earns €20M net a year at Real Madrid (most expensive player ever, highest earner ever after Cristiano), has 7 goals in 74 games across 4 years.
And a 100% rate of overweightness.
This isn't the main issue, this is just a small detail to the real issue that this parasite has. And it's the lack of effort, drive and energy he shows on the pitch. He plays for the biggest club in the world and yet he moves like a tractor on that pitch every single time.
A huge shame and stain to the history of the biggest club in the world, it's so regretful that such a player spent 5 years representing this club.
Up until #BarcaGate , MoggiGate, a.k.a. "#Calciopoli", was the biggest corruption scandal in football history.
Below is a thread about Calciopoli to help you understand better BOTH scandals, show you the striking identicalities between them and what to expect.
(A THREAD):
As everyone knows, Italy lives for Calcio (football).
It is a fundamental part of many if not every Italian person's life. And the same goes for Spain, to a certain extent.
When Pino Narducci (Napoli's public prosecutor at the time) received information from his sources about corruption happening in the highest level of Italian football, the Serie A, he never thought it would lead to arguably the biggest scandal in football history.
