1/6 A new criminal case was opened against Alexey @navalny while he's in prison as a result of the very "provocation" his lawyer wrote about a week ago. All the details are in this thread. Please share it.
2/6 The convict with personal hygiene problems was once again put in Navalny's cell. This was done while Alexey himself was absent. The smell was such that Navalny refused to go in there.
3/6 According to Russian prison "rules" he was obligated to kick the convict out with physical violence, but he told the guards that he would not do it because this convict was not to blame and the administration was using him as a tool.
4/6 A rapid response team in bulletproof vests was immediately called in. Alexey was hit and dragged into the cell (all this was filmed on a video recorder). He did not use physical violence against the convict, but grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and dragged him to the door
5/6 Right after that they surrounded Navalny, pinned him to the wall, and the colony administration reported that a new criminal case was opened against him under the article "Desorganization of the Activity of Penitentiary Institutions" with a possible term of up to 5 years.
6/6 This is the 10th criminal case against Navalny right now. He is already facing up to 35 years in prison, but that is not enough for Putin - he wants Alexey to sit in prison forever and demands that new criminal cases be fabricated against him using completely inhumane methods.

Alexei Navalny was deprived of his right to defense. He can no longer see his lawyer alone. They can communicate only under supervision, any exchange of documents is only possible after a three-day inspection and censorship.
Putin put Navalny in jail. Then he ordered his transfer to a maximum-security penal colony. Then he locked him up in a punishment cell. Then he toughened the conditions of detention. Now he even deprived him of communication with his lawyer.
This isn't even a prison in a prison. This is a completely unprecedented case: it does not even fit in with the norms of Russian penal colonies. They want to isolate Navalny completely.
1/6 Today, Alexei Navalny's conviction was affirmed. He will have to spend nine years in a maximum-security penal colony. The place where he is to be transferred is notorious for its prisoners being tortured and killed. I wrote about it in detail here:
2/6 In court today, Alexei Navalny said that the judge who commuted his suspended sentence to imprisonment in 2021 died six months later. The official reason was covid. Shortly before that she had secretly told Alexei through some lawyers that she regretted her decision.
3/6 Navalny's next judge, who had tried him in prison 3 months earlier, was, on the contrary, promoted. Putin personally signed the promotion decree. We have proven that during the trial she regularly called the presidential administration, apparently coordinating her decisions.
1/14 This is a thread with facts about the high-security penal colony to which Putin ordered Alexei Navalny to be transferred.
According to reports from convicts, it’s Penal Colony No. 6 (IK-6) in the town of Melekhovo, Vladimir Oblast.
2/14 Abuse and torture are used against inmates in many Russian prisons, but IK-6 in Melekhovo is a monstrous place even by such insane standards.
On June 6, 2018, prisoner Gor Ovakimyan was murdered there after many days of torture. novayagazeta.ru/articles/2018/…
3/14 The colony administration concealed his death from his relatives for almost a week. When the family did find Ovakimian's body in the morgue, they saw stun gun marks, broken fingers and toes, damaged genitals, and bruises all over his body.
novayagazeta.ru/articles/2018/…
