KDJ just finished beta playing a kinetic novel made by minosoft, leaving notes as he played, and fixing several bugs here and there. He felt bad for the love interest of the story, Guwon, since his life was riddled with so much bad luck, similar to kdj.

Guwon was born into a wealthy ducal family, the Kim family. He was the only heir of his family's fortune, but he had a sickly body. The duke couldn't help but feel anger that his heir is a pathetic weak boy, so Guwon was ab*sed

While also forced to take lessons to become the proper heir. His body was constantly being pushed to the limit, and he had no one to turn to for help. Enter the imperial Yoo family. The twins Joonghyun and Joonghyuk are neglected by their parents because--

They are terrified of them. They're perfect sons, maybe too perfect. There was always something 'off' about them, and no one can pin point what it was. The Kim Duchy offers to make their son the new playmate, since most of their playmates ran off, traumatized over something

Much to everyone's surprise, Guwon immediately hits off with the twins. His kind, sweet heart melted the tough walls of the twin's heart, and his fragile nature made them fall in love immediately. From then on, the princes would constantly visit the Kim Duchy to take care of him

Years later, Guwon's ab*se came to light by chance. The twins find him being beaten by his father, so they kill him and everyone in the duchy, taking Guwon for themselves, locking him up in the palace forever.

The thing that KDJ doesn't understand is that Guwon... appreciated it? He calls the twins his saviors, and falls in love with them when they commit atrocious crimes. KDJ just can't wrap his head around it, but doesn't think too much of it

He never expected to be isekai'd into that story after getting hit by a truck.

When he woke up, he was in the streets of a western town. His body was that of an 8 year old boy named Dokja, an orphan living in the streets.

He panicked for a bit---

Until he felt relief, at least he's just a no name character in the streets that has no effect in the narrative! He can concentrate on himself, finding ways to survive.

Unfortunately for him, the Duke sees him and takes him to the duchy.

"I want you to stay with my son, and take care of his every need, from waking up, to bathing him, clothing him, feeding him, making sure he makes good grades in his lessons--"

The duke kept going on and on about his responsibilities, the basic rundown is--

Dokja is his bodyguard that doubles as a stand-in just in case an emergency arises. He's registered in the family as a distant cousin, so they have an excuse as to why he looks like Guwon. He has to make sure Guwon will be fit for his work, and be there for him always.

There wasn't any character like this in the beta of the game, but it's too late to question it now. He has to survive, if he needs to run away he will. That determination disappears when he sees Guwon for the first time.

The kid was an absolute ANGEL, why would his parents--

Hurt him?! He was so soft spoken,small, and cute! He was nervous of Dokja for a bit, but Dokja managed to make him at ease by talking about books. Guwon immediately latches on to Dokja, following him around and calling him "Hyung".

There isn't a second in the day--

When Guwon isn't with Dokja. Hell, Guwon sneaks into the servant quarters from time to time just to sleep right next to Dokja. Sometimes Guwon cries when Dokja has to do his other duties, clinging to him like a baby koala.

Guwon absolutely loves Dokja-

--and Dokja adores Guwon with all his heart. He's willing to do anything for this little dreamer, even if it means sacrificing his life one day.

Because they're so identical to each other, whenever Guwon is being called for punishment, Dokja exchanges clothes with him--

So he can take the beatings instead of Guwon. Guwon hates how Dokja comes back with bruises all over his body, but Dokja reassures him that he's doing it to protect his lordship. Guwon hates it when Dokja calls him anything other than his name, it makes him feel distant

Dokja is the only person who ever cared for Guwon to this extent. He allows Guwon to be a kid, and never gets mad when he gets sick. Dokja is his salvation in this rotten world. One day, once he takes over the duchy, he'll make sure that Dokja will be--

Right by his side, happy.

When Guwon's health starts to become better, the duke tells him that he'll be the new playmate of the monster twins. Guwon accepts, as long as he can take Dokja with him.

The duke doesn't care, as long as he gets into the emperor's good grace.

Dokja is nervous about meeting the two yandere twins, but Guwon reassures him that he'll protect Hyung this time. Dokja coddles Guwon, calling him his adorable knight. Guwon sulks, he doesn't want to be cute but cool.

When they meet the twins, it doesn't go as KDJ would expect. The twins didn't just fall in love with Guwon, they also became interested in him?! They would demand meetings with both of them, and send gifts for both of them.

Kdj was at a loss, why would the Yoo twins show attraction to a mere servant like him? He's nothing special. Guwon is happy that he's made friends, and that they appreciate his hyung just as much as him.

Years pass by, and Guwon is healthier than ever. He's a few inches taller than KDJ, and his beauty can only be rivaled by the Yoo twins. He's still as clingy as ever, but KDJ doesn't mind it.

The story is about to shift into a dark one, but now that Guwon--

Is healthy and happy, KDJ believes that he should exit the narrative. Guwon doesn't need him anymore, he can stand up for himself now, and a commoner like him shouldn't be associated with the duke and imperial princes.

So, he runs away, leaving a goodbye note for Guwon and--

The twins. The duke already knew about this, in fact he encouraged it. Now that his son was moulded into the perfect heir, he doesn't need a peasant to spread his dirty germs on the castle walls. He only tolerated it because he was diligent in his duties.
