#ghostsoap #soapghost 💖 (fluff, slow dancing)

“Do you think you’ll be in the military forever?”

Soap adjusts his head on Ghost’s lap. Ghost is resting up against a tree as he looks down, his hand gently grazing Soap’s sun-kissed cheek. 1/33
The sun is slowly setting over the park, the golden hues painting the sky so beautifully.

“I thought I was going to be, but…”

Soap notices a hint of red quickly forming on Ghost’s cheeks. 2/33
Soap can already guess the reason why Ghost is suddenly looking up into the sky, obviously trying to avoid any form of eye contact.

“Simon Riley. Have you changed your mind… because of me?”

Ghost lets outs a little groan at Soap’s teasing. “… And what if I have?” 3/33
His voice is low, but it’s laced with more confidence than Soap had expected. He turns his head and teasingly lifts up Ghost’s t-shirt to plant a kiss on his belly button.

It gives him the exact reaction that he was looking for.

“Johnny…” Ghost lets out. “Quit it out.” 4/33
“I feel the same, y’know.” He says more seriously as he sits up. “I was ready to die on the field before I fell in love with you. Give my life for the cause and all that.”

He leans in and pushes his forehead against Ghosts. 5/33
He needs him to know, despite all the teasing, that he is right there with him. They gaze into each other’s eyes, both of their expressions reflecting the sudden seriousness of the conversation.

They both have a deep yearning for something more in life. 6/33
Neither of them has ever been allowed to experience what life truly has to offer. More than anything, they know that something as delicate as /this/ can’t be protected in the field.

They are merely postponing the inevitable. 7/33
“I’m not letting you go.” Ghost says.

It’s a statement more than anything else.

“Good, because I’m here to bug ya until your hair turns grey.”

Ghost rolls his eyes at hearing that. 8/33
“I’m afraid that won’t take long. Since I met you, I’ve been finding more and more every time I look in the mirror.”

Soap rolls his head back in laughter. “Piss off, Simon.”

Wanting to be closer, he pulls on Ghost’s arm and snuggles himself onto his chest. 9/33
They listen to the sounds of birds fluttering every now and then. Once in a while, a dog barks or a burst of laughter echoes out into the summer air.

The sounds of life surround them, but they remain as quiet as ever. 10/33
And out of all the small sounds of everyday life, Soap hears the beating heart in Ghost’s rising chest the loudest. He can’t help but smile while listening to it.

The most beautiful sound in the world. 11/33
He lets his hand wander across Ghost’s thigh and begins tracing the crinkles of his pants.

His fingers delicately journeying across each crinkle remind him of climbing up and down a stretch of mountains. 12/33
He closes his eyes as Ghost begins carding his fingers through his hair. He had never thought that love could feel so… serene.

Ghost’s warm embrace… his longing gaze every time their eyes meet. The feeling he gets every time they kiss. 13/33
Simon gives him, more than anything, a true sense of comfort and security.

“Do you think you’d like living in Scotland?” Soap suddenly asks.

“I don’t see why I wouldn't.” Ghost answers as his hand edges closer to meet Soap’s still resting on his thigh. 14/33
He looks around noticing the people around him beginning to disappear. He watches the singing birds look for their nests among the trees.

He doesn’t entirely know why, but a thought occurs inside of him that he suddenly can’t let go of. 15/33
He pulls himself up and brushes his pants free of dirt and grass. Ghost studies him closely as he reaches out his hand to him.

“Take my hand, mo ghràidh.”

Ghost shoots him a questioning look but accepts. 16/33
Soap gently pulls on Ghost’s left hand, putting it into his own as he straightens out their arms.

“What are you doing…?”

“This is what I want…” Soap whispers as he guides Ghost’s hand to his waist and closes the gap between them. 17/33
He rocks his body back and forth while Ghost remains still as a statue. He can’t help but smile as Ghost looks more confused than ever.

“C’mon… Move with me.”

“I – “ Ghost gulps. “I don’t know how to dance.” 18/33
Soap rests his hand gently on Ghost’s neck as they move their bodies slowly. Out of sync at first. When Soap sways to the left, Ghost goes to the right.

A man infamous for his skill and capability on the field, somehow so uncoordinated when dancing. 19/33
As the sun begins to set on the horizon, Soap notices how hard Ghost is trying, how desperate he is to please. So, they simply sway. Back and forth below the orange glow.

“Don’t step on my toes, big guy…” Soap teases.

“Fuck… sorry.” 20/33
The final rays of the setting sun suddenly illuminate Ghost’s features, making them even more breathtaking than ever before.

Ghost seemingly oblivious to Soap’s frozen state merely smiles. 21/33
As Ghost begins relaxing more, he starts swaying their outstretched arms at his own pace. So Soap just lets himself become lost in the moment. He drifts off to a realm beyond the present.

He imagines his future with Simon in Scotland. 22/33
Imagines long walks on the beach, and a house in the countryside. He can even hear the music playing in their kitchen as they dance the night away.

“I want this too…” Ghost finally says, bringing Soap back to the present. “Every day if you’ll have me.” 23/33
Ghost raises his hand and Soap twirls around in his spot. The air feels charged with unspoken emotions as if suddenly pulsing with the vibrations of their love.

It’s like the final notes of a violin's melody, hanging heavily in the air long after the song has ended. 24/33
A warm hand pulls on Soap’s waist, sending him toward the warm chest in front of him.

“I’ll gladly retire tomorrow if you ask me to.”

Words he hadn’t thought he’d hear tonight. But here they are. 25/33
Spoken out into the warm air as they hold each other tightly, swaying their bodies in perfect synchrony at last.

All Soap can do as his eyes well with tears is lean forward and press himself gently against the softness of Simon’s lips. 26/33
His heart races with such love that he can physically feel it surge through him all the way out to his fingertips.

Slowly, he parts his lips and instantly feels the warmth of Simon’s tongue. 27/33
Every brush further feeds the deep love that is becoming impossible to contain inside of him. He tugs lightly on Simon’s bottom lip, as he opens his eyes to meet the deep brown above him.

“All I want is you, Simon. That’s all I ask for today.” 28/33
Simon gives him a small nod, and Soap rests his head against the rising chest. They hold each other in a tight embrace, swaying gently back and forth as the orange hue above them begins to turn into a dark grey. 29/33
The world around them seemingly fades away, and for a moment, they exist only in each other's arms, entirely lost in the beauty of the moment.

“/And I wanna walk with you… On a cloudy day in fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high.../“ 30/33
Soap's lips curve into a smile as he closes his eyes and listens to Simon’s low singing.

The vibrations of his voice begin to wash over him, so he merely nuzzles himself further into the rising chest for comfort. 31/33
“/So won't you try to come… Come away with me, and we'll kiss on a mountain top…/”

The beating heart against his ear acts like a drum, playing the melody for Simon’s soothing voice that guides the rhythm of their dance. 32/33
Simon wraps his arms tightly around Soap as he rests his lips by his ear.

“/…Come away with me, and I'II never stop loving you…/“

Perhaps he will ask Simon to retire with him tomorrow. Tonight, however, is reserved only for dancing.

/end. 33/33

#soapghost #ghostsoap💓(CW: fluff, night terrors)

When they first start dating, Ghost makes it a point to never stay over. He always goes back to his place even when his eyes are red and droopy from exhaustion. Soap doesn’t really understand why. 1/24
He often begs Ghost to stay – even buys him a toothbrush to store at his place. But it is never enough to make Ghost reconsider.

One day, they are watching a movie all cuddled up in bed. Ghost’s head is resting on Soap’s rising chest. 2/24
Not out of the ordinary, Soap makes comments throughout the movie. He points and asks and laughs while Ghost merely murmurs or nods against his chest.

After another comment goes unanswered, Soap looks down and takes notice of how still Ghost is. 3/24

It's finally here! A long🔞NSFW🔞thread. #ghostsoap #soapghost (CW: light BDSM, cum eating, top!ghost)

It was Simon’s birthday today, and he was not one to celebrate. But Soap kindly ignored Ghost’s incessant groaning and told him to dress up for their 8:00 PM reservation. 1/58
He knocked on Ghost’s door before placing the wooden basket that he held out of view. Ghost appeared in a crisp black and white patterned shirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

“Well, don’t you just look dashing, birthday boy?”

Ghost rolled his eyes and groaned. 2/58
“I got dolled up for ya too. Do you like it?”

Soap twirled around for Ghost, showing off the lavish tux he had bought. It was dark green accompanied by a green vest, black shirt, and tie.

“You look… fucking fantastic, Johnny.” 3/58
