#sakuatsu angel x demon au where omi just makes atsumu fall for him and in return for that, atsumu sacrifices his wings which are his pride and joy. only for omi to laugh at him and leave him on earth to suffer alone

its angst yes, but i want omi to realize how it's lonely to not have that pretty little angel by his side whenever he's bored and goes out. it takes awhile for him to admit it but when he does, he visits Atsumu who's living quietly at a house by a hill

he sees atsumu being absolutely peaceful. as if his heart wasn't shattered into pieces, and when kiyoomi shows himself. atsumu has to hold in the urge to choke him out.

ofc, atsumu doesn't want to see his face. he hates him. so he shoos omi away

omi doesn't come back for a few months, seeing how atsumu is unbothered by his absence and he just gets all pissy. he visits over and over again until atsumu is so used to it he doesn't question it.

throughout the visits, they become friends again. and fall inlove.

atsumu is hurt and scared. he tells omi to go away again. especially when kiyoomi tells him about his feelings.

he shakes his head. not accepting kiyoomi unless he sees his twin and until kiyoomi actually experiences the pain of losing his pride and joy, his wings

kiyoomi as the devil, breaks the heavenly rules and brings osamu to see his brother again.

he stays quiet even as the two of them cry in each other's embrace. and then afterwards, kiyoomi is gone. like atsumu expected.

a devil would break the heavenly rules. but it would not sacrifice its own pride and joy for him. how foolish.

atsumu moves on, even as he awaits the knocks on his door everyday.

until one night, a month after he lasts seen kiyoomi, someone knocks at his door.

it's late at night and his back hurts from the pain of having his wings cut off, but he still stands and opens the door to greet the person.

the person being kiyoomi, with blood trailing down his back as he pants heavily. seconds away from passing out.

atsumu can't see his wings anymore. those dark ones that always accompany him during his visits. bold and prideful of them. no, instead its replaced with blood and the remains of it.

kiyoomi is sweating. he's panting heavily but he's here. with atsumu.

"atsumu," he manages to say between heavy pants. absolutely tired and strained from the pain.

atsumu can't help but think it's a trick. he's been fooled once. but when kiyoomi slowly loses his balance the thought dissappear for a slight moment.

atsumu takes care of him, washes his back and patches him up.

he remains careful of kiyoomi, a devil could only remain so long on earth. so he's suspicious.

those suspicions slowly waver as he hears kiyoomi try to soothe the pain at night, trying not to wake atsumu up.

kiyoomi who frowns when he has to do simple basic things, unable to fly and get whatever he wants because he now(or so he claims) is a human.

only then when atsumu is completely sure does he finally give kiyoomi the tightest hug. sighing into his shoulder.

kiyoomi who melts into the touch and hugs him back. he's here for atsumu and only him. he doesn't mind having to learn basic human needs and skills. as long as he's here with atsumu.

the first tweet to this was actually based on an au i read around like two years ago here but i doubt i can find it now. its just it ended in angst and i was like what if happy ending 😔
