#jjk220 - 🧵 that “loneliness” yorozu mentioned, is the same empty feeling gojo feels/felt since Hidden Inventory. suguru geto was always with gojo, part of the “strongest” together, there was no reason to feel alone, or worried because geto was around.
to be the strongest means ability to do whatever you want, which could be interpreted as the “gain.” the “loss” would be the feeling of loneliness, having the strength, but at the same time miss out on that feeling of being understood.
during hidden inventory, gojo could rely on geto, and geto could rely on gojo. the two strongest and each other’s equals. i believe sukuna never went through that feeling of having someone satisfy him. heian period was the “golden era of sorcery” but still inadequate, not—
satisfying sukuna enough. that’s what yorozu implied, the loneliness in sukuna’s eyes. that’s why i believe that the “love” sukuna found isn’t in any romantic way, but it’s someone who he can relate to. the absolute strongest of their respective time, both being the—
“honored one.” christmas eve is romanticized, and would be a fair day to conclude and decide who is truly “the strongest.” gojo has been nurturing, teaching and raising his students for several reasons. to change the jujutsu verse, to never have them—
go through what he endured, the feeling of being alone. but the truth is, only sukuna could actually understand what he went through, for he went through the same problems.
that’s why i believe sukuna v gojo, will be more than just a meathead raw battle. it’ll have a theme and a proper conclusion to the title of “the strongest.”
