Allegedly a person named Javed and his friends have gang-raped and murdered of a minor hindi girl in Ganguly Bagan, Kaliyaganj.

Local Hindu Community is protesting for harsh punishment for culprits

Unfortunately, the state where we have the third-longest woman chief Minister woman has witnessed a number of high-profile cases of violence against women in recent years.

In 2016, a college student was gang-raped and murdered in Kamduni, near Kolkata.
In 2019, a 3-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Purba Bardhaman.
In 2018, a 16-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Jalpaiguri.
What is even more concerning is the lack of accountability and justice in many of these cases. The perpetrators of these crimes often go unpunished, and the families of the victims are left to suffer in silence.
We are keeping our ears to the ground for any further information.

This is a horrifying incident. Two madrassa students were allegedly dragged away from inside the institution and gang-raped by half-a-dozen youths claiming to be policemen in the Kareli police circle. This incident took place on Wednesday evening.
The culprits forced their way into the madrasa premises and assaulted the watchman before pouncing on the terrified girls.
