WANNA HEAR AN INSANE STORY?

A few years ago, I wrote "Script Guidelines for Your Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie" on @thebolditalic. It is a satire piece.

Last week, a screenwriter emailed to tell me a version of my satire piece was circulating as an actual screenwriting template:

We met for coffee. Because I like strangers and I like coffee.

And he showed me the "template" he got, which was nearly word-for-word of my SATIRE piece.

I've had a few emails over the years, folks asking in earnest to submit their Hallmark movie screenplay to me.

I've let them down gently.

The story pauses there bc I have no idea what to do about it (if anything?) but y'all needed to know. (And I'm all ears if you know what I should do!)
