The US backed Euromaidan regime has stepped up its ethnic cleansing of Ukraine with a new de-Russification law enacted under the guise of de-colonization. Russianism will be wiped from every building, every sign, every monument, every street and every city in Ukraine.

Fears about "Russkiy Mir" echo the same xenophobic rubbish German Nazis used in their propaganda against "Cultural Bolshevism", which led to ethnic cleansing and the mass murder of Bolsheviks, Jews, nomadic cultures, and their sympathizers in WW2... aka, the Holocaust.
Hannah Arendt once pointed out that the murders escalated when the Nazis realized they would lose the war. They did it in a final attempt to help carry out the final solution to rid Europe of as many Bolshevik remnants as they could before officially giving up the military cause.
The closer the Euromaidan gets to losing the Russo-Ukrainian war, the more terrified I am for the people of Ukraine. I can't help but wonder about what is happening to "collaborators" of the Russkiy Mir who are being rounded up.

Imperial Russia (which no longer exists) used the concept of Russkiy Mir to legitimize their empire. The modern Russian Orthodox Church uses the Soviet role in defeating fascism in WW2 as an example of the Russian people's special role in the world.

The UCMC (founded in 2014 w/ a stated mission to wage "information war" to help the Euromaidan regime gain favor in the West) presents this cultural outreach program as a threat to Western society, appealing to Cold War mentality and deep seated fears about the USSR.
Can and do Ukrainian Nationalists make a distinction between the *idea* of Russkiy Mir and Russian *people*? Where will the line be drawn between eliminating the Russkiy Mir, as an idea, and exterminating Russian people?
Criminalizing Russianisms, criminalizes *being* Russian. The horror of such a thing would be obvious if they criminalized Jewishness. And since Russianisms are viewed as an act of violence and treason against the Ukrainian state... how do y'all think this will play out?
Some think this is not an atrocious thing... that all Ukrainian Russians have to do is stop being Russian and Ukrainize themselves. The Nazis said similar things when the set out to Germanize Eastern Europe. But what happened to people who couldn't be assimilated?

"Decolonization" is #NewSpeak for "ethnic cleansing". Maybe you think it's justified, but it's still ethnic cleansing. If you want to argue it's justified, go ahead & try. Keep in mind that Jews & Greeks have lived in East Ukraine longer than anyone else.
