Russia is waging a hybrid war against the entire West. Ukraine is the key to solving the Russian problem in the world 🧵
Russia can't oppose the West with military force. So Kremlin is working to split a united Europe from the middle, using the vulnerabilities of democracy.
Russia seeks to shape Europe's information agenda by promoting its propaganda. Russia actively cooperates with far-left and far-right, in particular, neo-Nazi movements in Europe to promote Euroscepticism.
Only by contributing to Ukraine’s victory the world can end the hybrid threat from Russia. Ukraine needs more support to stop Russian terror. #ArmUkraineNow

It's been 37 years since the #Chornobyl nuclear power plant suffered the biggest man-made disaster in history. And today, Russia has once again put humanity at risk of a nuclear catastrophe 🧵
Chornobyl disaster became an important factor in the collapse of the USSR. As a result of the accident and government lies, trust in the Soviet regime finally collapsed. The current foreign policy pursuits of the Kremlin have the objective of reviving the USSR in some capacity.
On February 24, 2022, Russian troops invaded the Kyiv region and seized the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. It was the first time since 1986 that gamma radiation in Chornobyl has increased 20-fold. Russians disregarded radiation safety rules and provoked a number of fires.
Russians launch advertising campaigns to spread fakes. Check out what messages they promote 🧵
🤡: “You do badly in the army but well in captivity.” Russians say how well they treat prisoners and how the Ukrainian military doesn't want to fight with the “brotherly people”. But we all saw videos of how Russians treat Ukrainian prisoners. War crimes are routine for Russians.
🤡: “The West has turned its back on Ukraine.” Russians lied that the Ukrainian army is suffering massive losses in Bakhmut, has already lost the battle for the city and cannot wait for help from anywhere, because “Westerners do not believe in Ukraine’s victory.”
Russia uses its presidency of the UN Security Council to lie and spread propaganda 🧵
Yesterday Russia held a meeting in the UN Security Council on the topic “Effective multilateralism through the defense of the principles of the Charter of the United Nations."
Russian aggression is the cause, not the result, of NATO expansion, in particular Finland's entry into the Alliance. The real motive behind the Kremlin's hostility to NATO is firm security guarantees to member states that make Russian aggression against them impossible.
The Ambassador of China to France stated that "Crimea belonged to Russia from the very beginning." Is it about the ambassador or the new position of China? 🧵
Ukraine is internationally recognized and in particular, by Beijing and represented in the UN. Ukraine and Belarus have been members of the UN for 26 years longer than China.
Crimea is an integral part of the internationally recognized territory of Ukraine. Revising the status of countries and their territorial integrity is a way to global chaos, which is hardly in China’s best interest, considering its own territorial problems.
It is wonderful that the "Weapons for Ukraine" threads are regular, because every week we have something to be grateful for. Thank you, Germany 🇩🇪, the US 🇺🇸, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Slovakia 🇸🇰, France 🇫🇷, Denmark 🇩🇰, Estonia 🇪🇪 for your support this week! 🧵
