Earlier today, Group CEO @MKKyari, on an inspection tour of one of the #AKKGasPipeline project sites in Ahoko,Kogi State said the project is almost at 70% completion,with over $1.1bn so far released to finance the project. ImageImageImageImage

"The #AKKGasPipeline is one massive project we are running as @nnpclimited. It has immense value for Nigeria & its socio-economic growth. The project has not stopped for one day. We have continued to fund it despite the absence of third-party financing." ImageImageImageImage

“We have so far spent over $1.1bn on this project from our cashflow. We are a commercial company today. We have inter-company laws within our company now. This company can fund this project, so we do not need any support to deliver this project now." ImageImageImageImage

PRESS STATEMENT

1) Our attention has been drawn to an online publication, alleging that @nnpclimited exported 17.877 million barrels of crude oil without proper documentation in four years (2016 to 2020).
2a) The Auditor General’s report in reference did mention 32 oil marketing companies involved in the non-completion of the NXP forms;...
2b)...but that does not in any way mean that the proceeds from the sale of the said crude were not repatriated into the coffers of @nnpclimited and consequently into the Federation Accounts for Federation related barrels.

Being an integrated project, the 1st phase will entail an in-situ Oil Refinery of up to 120,000 bpd capacity, a Gas processing plant of up to 500 million standard cubic feet per day, a Power Plant of up to 300-megawatt capacity, and a Fertilizer Plant of 2,500 tons per day. ImageImageImage
In another phase of the project, there'll be a Downstream Oil Terminal/depot for offtake and distribution of the white products coming out of the refinery & further development of the integrated project.

1. The @nnpclimited, Akwa Ibom State Government and Solutions Hub Limited have sealed a deal to establish a fully integrated, deepwater logistics shore base in the State.
2. Uyo, the Capital of Akwa Ibom State was yesterday agog as Governor Udom Emmanuel, the leadership of @nnpclimited and Solution Hub Ltd signed the dotted lines to execute the shareholder’s agreement of Ibom Solution Hub Ltd.
3. The logistics base, proposed to be sited on a 40 sq kms space in Ibaka, Mbo LGA, within the already designated FTZ in A/Ibom State, is modeled to be an alternative to existing Logistics bases in Nigeria to offer offshore construction support to West & Central African regions.
