Earlier today, Group CEO @MKKyari, on an inspection tour of one of the #AKKGasPipeline project sites in Ahoko,Kogi State said the project is almost at 70% completion,with over $1.1bn so far released to finance the project.
"The #AKKGasPipeline is one massive project we are running as @nnpclimited. It has immense value for Nigeria & its socio-economic growth. The project has not stopped for one day. We have continued to fund it despite the absence of third-party financing."
“We have so far spent over $1.1bn on this project from our cashflow. We are a commercial company today. We have inter-company laws within our company now. This company can fund this project, so we do not need any support to deliver this project now."
“As we speak now, we don’t owe a dollar to our contractors today. We paid all their invoices. There are over 30 active sites today in this project, and we are very hopeful that we will deliver this project”
1) Our attention has been drawn to an online publication, alleging that @nnpclimited exported 17.877 million barrels of crude oil without proper documentation in four years (2016 to 2020).
2a) The Auditor General’s report in reference did mention 32 oil marketing companies involved in the non-completion of the NXP forms;...
2b)...but that does not in any way mean that the proceeds from the sale of the said crude were not repatriated into the coffers of @nnpclimited and consequently into the Federation Accounts for Federation related barrels.
Historic scenes as President @MBuhari today flagged off the Kolmani Integrated Development Project at Barambu, a village straddling Bauchi & Gombe States.
Being an integrated project, the 1st phase will entail an in-situ Oil Refinery of up to 120,000 bpd capacity, a Gas processing plant of up to 500 million standard cubic feet per day, a Power Plant of up to 300-megawatt capacity, and a Fertilizer Plant of 2,500 tons per day.
In another phase of the project, there'll be a Downstream Oil Terminal/depot for offtake and distribution of the white products coming out of the refinery & further development of the integrated project.

1) In order to strengthen its downstream business portfolio to enhance profitability & guarantee National Energy Security, @nnpclimited has completed the acquisition of @OVHEnergy Downstream assets.
2) These assets include a reception jetty (ASPM) with 240,000MT monthly capacity, 8 LPG Plants, 3 Lubes Blending Plants, 3 Aviation Depots and 12 warehouses.
