Now that the seasons over I can say that I got the chance to be a media member this year. Covered a majority of home games, made this season somewhat bearable. Also got to be a fly on the wall and learned some funny stuff: Image
Ty Lue hates the FO, Vice Versa. Most of the players hate Ty as well. Anything they say about him in the media after he leaves is complete cap.

Ty Lue kept playing those 3-4 guard lineups cuz he’s trolling before he dips.
Mook requested a trade multiple times, yet I genuinely have no clue why they didn’t acknowledge it. Why do that to a player or the team? Eventually after the deadline he waltzed up to them and told them he was either a starter or he went home. And he went home.
That’s why he was on HASP for like 2 weeks dude was throwing a temper tantrum cuz he didn’t want his ego hurt. Ty enabled this too Lmfao it’s crazy. I don’t know what happened after or why he came back to the team. Props to him for coming to his senses I guess.
Reggie was a lowkey a dick too that nice guy persona got the fraud alert so fast it’s so crazy. Cold shoulders, no in game effort, pouting, all the works. Players perception of him changed real quick.
We all know Ty would rather shoot people out of the game vs lock them down. But once the FO started to push for more defensive lineups, he got salty and stuck to the guard rotations out of spite. His friendship with Mook didn’t help either.
Once they did that Ty Lue decided he’s gonna fuck around. He knows the guard lineups don’t work, he’s not dumb. They were intentional. It’s his petty protest against the FO.

Ty Lue threw the season on purpose.
At the same time, championship level FOs DO NOT let 2 role players and a coach hijack an important season like this. Any other team with chip goals would’ve had Ty Lue on the street by February. Straight up cuck behavior it’s embarrassing.
All those cryptic Twitter likes from Roco and Tmann were public cries for help. They got a year of their NBA careers wasted just cuz of Ty. Tmann ain’t a big Ty fan any longer.
Kawhi is a funny guy too. That Memphis game he sat out at the half had nothing to do with the medical staff. He decided that on his own and didn’t tell anyone. Legit just ghosted the team mid game.
Then the last Pelicans game back in March where Kawhi left early, he wasn’t even hurt at all. He just had an excuse to leave and he took it. Ghosted them again.
It’s wild seeing that cuz guys like Tmann Zu Norm Mook Reggie played hurt or not 100%. Sad to see that your “franchise” player can’t do the same.
I posted this in the other thread but Norm was almost traded to Memphis for EG. They either valued EG over Luke and Norm, or they wanted to get off either one of their contracts. Norm turns 30 and Luke turns 27 this year. I don’t get it.
The whole org is run by paranoid boomers who would have a melt down if they got normal media coverage. Again compared to other orgs they’re pushing that China North Korea censorship lmaoo. You will straight lose your creds if you cross VAGUE lines.
Obv you can’t go up and ask controversial questions and all that, that’ll get you axed at any org. But there used to be semi forwardness with the fans when it came to just normal info. Now everything is slammed into a box of privacy. A lot of this was pre 213 btw.
Example A: This LA sports writer is literally BANNED from Clipper games because he posted this video of Kawhi. Which is absolutely INSANE.💀 I’ve seen first hand how they change rules/policies out of nowhere. Can get confusing as to what you can and cannot do.
Visiting employees from other outlets and even the players own media guys got confused as to what the rules were, LAC is the only team in the league that’s this restrictive when it comes to this stuff. Only NBA team that makes it hard for some people to do their actual jobs.
The whole “FO moves in silence🤫” stuff is kinda weird now. Whole org is just very timid/skiddish. Complete opposite of Ballmer. I had a another team’s PR person tell me the Clippers try bring their privacy rules into other other arenas they visit, doesn’t really work tho.
The way they treated Blake before they traded him makes a ton of sense now. If you connect the dots you’ll realize they just move weird. I’m fully confident that Blake told the truth in this interview.
Looking back at the “Streetlights over Spotlights” slogan is hilarious now these guys actually hate being in the spotlight of anything. Complete socially awkward, inferiority-complex ridden individuals.

They are not elite and get overrated in the media like crazy.
The “People over players” mantra is just a cover for when they completely fumble on a draft pick, take an L on a signing or trade.
I also find that mantra hilarious considering they have a predator running their social media, and didn’t fire him after learning about what he did. He’s still employed right now. Dude kept trying to get at a female staffer and didn’t stop, eventually got reported.
Despite all that, I will say I met a lot of dope people; creatives, writers, clippers digital team, ect. Lots of cool people who love what they do, glad to have met them.
Y’all spend money on tickets, jerseys, and TV packages just to root for this team; Y’all deserve to know a lil bit of what went on this year.

Also, ESPN shows will also contradict some of this stuff cuz Ty got connects with em.

2022-23 Lawrence Frank & Michael Winger Highlights: A Thread ⬇️
Summer 2022: Let a Marcus Morris + assets for Mike Conley deal fall through. This in turn left them hungering for a point guard “upgrade.” Eventually settling on John Wall. Mind you Morris had already asked out atp, refusing to trade him for what reason? God only knows. Image
They couldn’t get John Wall on the minimum so they let Isaiah Hartenstein walk to the Knicks. This left them without a backup center. Not addressing the issue until February 2023, 7 months later. Image
