After IPL 2023, JioCinema is set to launch 3 exclusive plans with 4K content quality.

Here is the total breakdown of the 3 plans:

1. Daily Delight:

Rs 2 per day which is a 93% discount from its actual plan of Rs 29. It'll allow streaming on 2 devices.

2. Gold Standard:

Rs 99 for 3 months which is also available at a discount from Rs 299. It'll support 2 devices.

3. Platinum Power:

Rs 599 for 12 months which is available at a discount from original plan of Rs 1199.

It'll also support up to 4 devices and offer an ad-free experience.

Mukesh Ambani has recently hired Kevin Vaz, Head of Network Entertainment business of Disney Star as Viacom18’s CEO.

He joined the list of 12+ top executives who quit Disney Star to join rivals like JioCinema.

Now, Viacom18 is India’s 4th largest media network in revenue (Rs 4146 Cr) after,

- Disney+ Hotstar (Rs 17481 Cr).
- ZEE (Rs 8430 Cr).
- Sony Pictures Entertainment (Rs 6747 Cr).

1. Original Content:

It's releasing 100+ films and web series in different languages by May end to keep users engaged.

It's competing with Netflix and Prime Video.

2. Hired Brand Ambassadors:

It appointed Rohit Sharma as its brand ambassador who was the face of Star Sports recently.

3. Value addition:

It's investing Rs 3000 Cr to boost subscription and ad revenue.
