You could start practicing it by painting a ball and making an eye of it. 2/9

Understand how light goes through the lens to the iris. It influence that bottom of the iris is lighter than the upper part when light is coming from the top. So the lighter part is opposite of what it is from the rest of the object. See the painted eyes as reference. 3/9
