Update:
After being reached out to multiple times, Paul Greer from the Bureau of Development Services finally got back to me.

While hesitant to talk, he informed me cagily that Legacy had recently “gotten in touch” and was now “making a plan” with them and the fire marshal
We’ve seen from their “repairs” they’re unsafe and inadequate.

Greer also told me one of the greater citations happened at unit 33… which doesn’t exist

VID: a rotten, molded load bearing pole that has fallen out of its place and has then been stuck back into the same hole
So while Legacy is obviously the villain here… we can’t NOT acknowledge that the city was waiting on repairs FOR A UNIT THAT DID NOT EXIST.

Greer informed me THIS contract is geared at Unit A (see OP) and another anon unit.

Okay it’s the rat bucket unit.
Despite Greer’s insistence that Legacy was participating in a plan, I went to Legacy’s own website to see if they were renting apartments that were directly on Greer’s paperwork.

Whoops. Unit A. That’s uh, this one. A Legacy advertising page f...A sink filled to the brim w...
@CCCPortland you’ve housed with Legacy multiple times. Do not send your folks with vouchers here.

You came and did the “muck out” at the location above, you know how bad it was.

Update: these were photos taken at Johnson Creek Village today, 4/27/23. This property is managed by Legacy Property Management. There are even more hazards, and no safe fixes have been made yet.

There were 2 dead rats in this bucket that reeked of bleach. A drowned rat in a bucket o...
Here are photos of the laundry room. This was another critical violation. The laundry room was regularly the subject of fentanyl & meth use, and methampethamine use in a building required a tear down.

The garbage area has still not been torn down after what the fire marshal suspected was arson. Given no working cameras in the area (despite Legacy promising safety) it could not be confirmed. Legacy Property Management and Johnson Creek Village

On 4/20/2023 Phillip Western and I were thrown out of our home in 72 hours because we refused to commit fraud for Legacy Property Management and the owners of Johnson Creek Village. A gray apartment building w...
We received no notice, Phill had never received a written warning for work, they refused to tell us why we were thrown aside. We asked if we could continue living in our home if we paid rent, and they refused with a laugh. It was a retaliatory firing and eviction. A door post from Legacy Pro...
We moved into a quaint old building called "The Albert" in November of 2021. Vintage and cute we had a lot of hope for the future, our move in costs paid by DV grants. Despite being advertised as having heat, the day we went to sign the move in papers,

We’ve all been super creeped out by the robot police dogs. While NYPD was forced to discontinue their program because of public outcry, I don’t think other depts will be so kind.

@stephensemler sent me rabbit holing down the user guide, and I found some interesting bits!
They are absolutely fallible. The user guide lists several ways a person can sabotage one by telling a user what NOT to do.

Now I’m not saying break the law, I’m just applying this to an activism lens. Spot would be TERRIBLE for protest usage.

Look at the requirements here: A chart showing what type o...
First off it’s recommended surface type is… carpet? Spot really seems like an indoor pet that doesn’t like messy, wet surfaces actually.

Spot also needs a LOT of room around it to function properly, and can’t be surrounded by people. That’s not gonna work. Stairways Yes: stairways th...
