Now a time of reflection before praying the Rosary.
God, come to my assistance.
— Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father & to the Son and to the Holy Spirit…
Sts. Peter Chanel, Louis Mary de Montfort, Gianna Beretta Molla, Bl. Bartolo Longo, pray for us!
He has called you out of darkness into His own wonderful light (see 1 Peter 2:9).
Lord, your name stands for ever,
unforgotten from age to age,
for the Lord does justice for his people;
the Lord takes pity on his servants.
Pagan idols are silver and gold,
the work of human hands.
They have mouths but they cannot speak;
they have eyes but they cannot see.
They have ears but they cannot hear;
there is never a breath on their lips.
Their makers will come to be like them
and so will all who trust in them!
Sons of Israel, bless the Lord!
Sons of Aaron, bless the Lord!
Sons of Levi, bless the Lord!
You who fear him, bless the Lord!
From Zion may the Lord be blessed,
he who dwells in Jerusalem!
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
— as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
Father, your name and your memory last for ever. We stand to pray in your house and praise you with psalms of joy. We ask you in your kindness to have mercy on us in our lowliness.
Blessed is the kingdom of David our father which has come among us, alleluia.
Mighty and wonderful are your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Righteous and true are your ways,
O King of the nations!
Who would dare refuse you honor,
or the glory due your name, O Lord?
Since you alone are holy, all nations shall come and worship in your presence. Your mighty deeds are clearly seen.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit…Amen.
Ant. Let us sing to the Lord, glorious in his triumph, alleluia.
Son though he was, Christ learned obedience from what he suffered; and when perfected, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him, designated by God as high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 5:8-10
Canticle, Magnificat
The soul rejoices in the Lord
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant…
Luke 1:46-55
Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Let us praise him, and say:
Son of the living God, bless your people.
We pray to you, Lord Jesus, for all ministers of your Church,
— as they break for us the bread of life, may they themselves receive nourishment and strength.
We pray for the whole Christian people, that all may be worthy of their calling,
— and safeguard their unity in the Spirit by the bond of peace.
Son of the living God, bless your people.
We pray for those who govern us, that they may temper justice with mercy,
— and promote harmony and peace throughout the world.
Son of the living God, bless your people.
We pray for ourselves, that our hearts may be purified to sing your praises in the communion of saints,
— may we be reunited with our deceased brothers and sisters, whom we commend to your loving kindness.
Son of the living God, bless your people.
Intentions (add your own if you like)
That all who have been (newly) received into Holy Church, and all priests, bishops, and cardinals, too, may serve the Lord and the faithful to the Glory of the Lord.
That all catechists may lead those for whom they are responsible into true formation in the new life in the Spirit as true disciples of Christ.
That all the faithful may be filled with the peace and joy that comes only from serving the Lord and being united with Him, and practicing that charity which alone comes from God and leads to His Mercy.
Thanks be to God for all who see our prayer requests and pray for them. May the Lord bless you for your charity and compassion and faithfulness.
Please pray for Christians in Nigeria. The violence against them there is horrible.
The Rosary proper begins at the top of the hour. I hope you’ll join me.
In the Name of the Father,
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Sts. Peter Chanel, Louis Mary de Montfort, Gianna Beretta Molla, Bl. Bartolo Longo, pray for us!
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you have deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children there the treasures of grace hidden…
(There’s a place in this prayer for your personal prayer intention.)
(For those who don’t believe, we pray…)
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord…
For the Holy Father
Our Father Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us…
For an increase of Faith, Hope, & Charity in our souls & our world
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
& blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us now
& at the hour of our death.
(Glory be, here and at the end of each decade.)
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.
The USCCB asked us (a while back) to fast & pray with special intentions for the Rosary. Look for a screenshot with each Mystery.
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Hail, our life, our sweetness, & our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve…
Long form St. Michael Prayer from the Raccolta:
O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the
heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers…
V. Most Sacred Heart of (bow head) Jesus,
R. Have mercy upon us.

Tell Marriott Hotel NOT to Host Satanic Temple “Weekend of Blasphemy” in Boston. Sign The Petition.
The Satanic Temple claims the fed. govt must provide its members in TX unregulated access to abortion as a matter of religious freedom & has created a “ritual” surrounding the abortion process.
The Satanic Temple (TST) second convention is sold out…It is being promoted as "a weekend of blasphemy & remembrance in Boston" & will also celebrate TST's 10-year anniversary.
