#1 Pembeli semakin berjimat

Betul cakap peniaga bazar semasa Ramadan lepas. Orang datang bazar banyak, tapi tak banyak berbelanja.

Menurut PwC Global Consumer Insight Pulse 2023, 80% responden 🇲🇾 sedang berhenti & mengurangkan perbelanjaan tak perlu.

"How does this affect me as a seller?"

1. Orang akan kurang travel
2. Domestic travel akan ⏫, international travel akan ⏬
3. Customer beralih ke cheaper brands
4. Customer hanya akan spend lebih kepada produk ESG
#2 Produk fesyen pilihan popular berjimat

50% responden 🇲🇾 mahu kurangkan spending produk fesyen - paling tinggi berbanding produk hiburan (46%), elektronik (45%) dan travel (41%).

Cukai Barangan Mewah dalam #Bajet2023 akan mengurangkan lagi selera membeli barang mewah.

1. Customer akan prioritise produk fesyen yang berkualiti tapi murah
2. Customer akan jadi discount/deal-hunters
3. Customer hanya akan spend more jika ethics jenama produk selari dengan moral value dia.
#3 Customer membeli di 'phygital' space

43% responden 🇲🇾 akan meningkatkan pembelian online dalam masa 6 bulan akan datang. 24% lagi akan meningkatkan pembelian offline.

70% responden kata pembelian offline relevan kerana mereka boleh check kualiti barang dulu b4 bayar.

1. Customer akan cenderung beli kalau ada option COD dan click-and-collect.
2. Customer akan cenderung beli kalau e-commerce ada fungsi 'augmented reality'.
3. Customer akan cenderung beli kalau seller offer money back guarantee.

4. Customer akan cenderung beli kalau knowledge sales staff power dan mesra.
5. Customer akan cenderung beli kalau proses checkout di kedai pantas (QR Pay, e-wallet, self service checkout dll)
#4 Masa shopping jadi singkat

Meskipun pandemik memperkenalkan mod kerja 'remote' & 'hybrid', 61% responden 🇲🇾 masih kena kerja di ofis selepas pandemik.

1. Habit beli barang semasa hari bekerja ⏫, beli semasa cuti kerja ⏬
2. Habit beli barang ikut plan ⏫, beli barang secara impulsive ⏬
3. Customer akan suka bila proses beli jadi singkat (ada drive-thru, ada parking dll)
#5 Nak jual mahal? Jual produk ESG

85% responden 🇲🇾 sanggup spend lebih jika produk seller:
- gunakan bahan2 local
- beretika dalam bisnes
- guna bahan kitar semula
- custom-made
- ada reputasi baik di social media

1. Customer takkan beli mahal2 jika produk dibuat oleh kilang en masse
2. Customer akan attracted to companies yang banyak buat amal kebajikan, CSR dan sokong komuniti
3. Produk high margin WAJIB customizable
#6 Data privacy penting untuk customer

52% responden 🇲🇾 tak akan kongsi data peribadi berlebihan kepada seller. 43% lagi reject/manage sendiri terma data privacy seller.

1. Customer expect ada Privacy Policy & Terms of Use di website.
2. Customer tak suka bila seller spam WhatsApp/email mereka secara berlebihan
3. Customer expect boleh opt-out terma-terma data privacy
