Rep. George Santos tried to stoke outrage by posting a video of a drag performance at a HS in his district. Turns out, the performer is a kid at the school.

He quietly deleted. But not before LibsofTikTok re-shared.

Great Neck North HS on Long Island hosted it’s annual coffee house event Saturday evening, and a 16-year-old student performed in drag.

The following day, Santos shared a video of the performance, imploring viewers to “#saveourkids”

The screen recorded version of the HS students’ drag performance shared by Rep. Santos captured a private IG message convo at the end.

It’s unclear who the recipient was, but I was able to figure out the identity of the sender.

The re-post came just two hours after Rep. Santos’ now-deleted IG post.

The victim has been identified by others as Jordan Neely. He came on the train starving and thirsty and distraught and he was killed for it. In broad daylight.
we’re going to see—and we’re already seeing—people arguing that being impoverished and mentally ill is a crime punishable by death. it’s essential to remind them that it is not.
this right here. we’ve all been in this situation, and while it may be alarming, it’d be a lot more alarming if some other guy fucking murdered him.
